The person that knocks on your door.
How about you co-worker who hates you, and has done things against you that hurt you and prevented you from getting a raise or promotion. or the person at your parents neighborhood who gets on your nerves, or your enemy from another nation?

Many are the woes of the wicked, but the LORD's unfailing love surrounds the man who trusts in him.

Rejoice
in the LORD and be glad, you righteous; sing, all you who are upright in heart! (1)

Let not my heart be drawn to what is evil,
to take part in wicked deeds with men who are evildoers;
let me not eat of their delicacies.

Let a righteous man strike me-it is a kindness; let him rebuke me-it is oil on my head. My head will not refuse it.

Yet my prayer is ever against the deeds of evildoers; (2)

Turn from evil and do good
; seek peace and pursue it.

The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous
and his ears are attentive to their cry;(3)

A righteous man may have many troubles
, but

the LORD delivers him from them all;

he protects all his bones, not one of them will be broken.

Evil will slay the wicked
; the foes of the righteous will be condemned.(4)

Let those who love the LORD hate evil
,

for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked.

Light is shed upon the righteous and joy on the upright in heart
.(5)

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.

The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.

Anyone can do good works.
That's not what Jesus says.

"As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me."-John 15:4

Don't you now do things you could not do before? Or are you the same as you were before Christ?

yes, Thank God they all contain the same message (gospel) :D
Yes, Jesus taught the gospel. Can you interpret Jesus' gospel message for us? Sounds like he's teaching works...

"18A ruler questioned Him, saying, “Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” 19And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone. 20“You know the commandments, ‘DO NOT COMMIT ADULTERY, DO NOT MURDER, DO NOT STEAL, DO NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS, HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER.’” 21And he said, “All these things I have kept from my youth.” 22When Jesus heard this, He said to him, “One thing you still lack; sell all that you possess and distribute it to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” 23But when he had heard these things, he became very sad, for he was extremely rich. 24And Jesus looked at him and said, “How hard it is for those who are wealthy to enter the kingdom of God! 25“For it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” 26They who heard it said, “Then who can be saved?”-Luke 18:18-26

Let's see how you interpret what he's saying so that it isn't a works gospel (which we agree it surely is not).

It would seem you have changed your theology now...the person living in sin can still be forgiven..perhaps even more than once?
Living in blatant, unrepentant sin means you are not saved or need mentoring. Most of the time it means the person is not saved.

Committing sin in thought and flesh and not in spirit after salvation happens, however as we spiritually mature and walk out progressive sanctification in our lives we should be able to renew our minds to match our spirit and our spirit should be making our decisions not our mind and as a result the flesh will be crucified with all its passions. We will never be perfect in mind or flesh, but we can have the mind of Christ, through his word and are born of his incorruptible seed.

Committing and living in are 2 very different things.

1 John 3
3 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

10 In this the children of God are manifest
, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.

13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.

14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

19 And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.

20 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.

21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.

22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

^^^^^^^^^^^

1 John 2
2 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

So basically our salvation is in our proof...no proof no salvation.
Loving Jesus and tending and shepherding his lambs, show the change in your life. I would not call this proof of anything, but maybe evidence that Christ is in you. A lost or unsaved person cannot love Jesus and show it by tending or shepherding his lambs. This inward and outward evidence or proof to the lost and unbelieving that you are saved, and have something about you that either attracts them[light] or makes them thirsty[salt]

Seems to me Jesus already knows who are his.

31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, accompanied by all the angels, he will sit on his glorious throne.

32 All the nations will be assembled before him, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates sheep from goats.

33 The ‘sheep’ he will place at his right hand and the ‘goats’ at his left.

34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you whom my Father has blessed, take your inheritance, the Kingdom prepared for you from the founding of the world.

35 For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you made me your guest,

36 I needed clothes and you provided them, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.’

This is the GWT judgement Ralph. The body of Christ will be with Jesus, not judged here.
[SUP]31 [/SUP]“But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne. [SUP]32 [/SUP]All the nations will be gathered before Him; and He will separate them from one another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats; [SUP]33 [/SUP]and He will put the sheep on His right, and the goats on the left.
[SUP]34 [/SUP]“Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. [SUP]35 [/SUP]For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; [SUP]36 [/SUP]naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’ [SUP]37 [/SUP]Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? [SUP]38 [/SUP]And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? [SUP]39 [/SUP]When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ [SUP]40 [/SUP]The King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.’[SUP] 41 [/SUP]“Then He will also say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels; [SUP]42 [/SUP]for I was hungry, and you gave Me nothing to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me nothing to drink; [SUP]43 [/SUP]I was a stranger, and you did not invite Me in; naked, and you did not clothe Me; sick, and in prison, and you did not visit Me.’ [SUP]44 [/SUP]Then they themselves also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not take care of You?’ [SUP]45 [/SUP]Then He will answer them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ [SUP]46 [/SUP]These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

If this is the GWT judgement and no believers are at this judgement why does the King separate them into 2 different groups and tell us that one group goes into eternal punishment and the other group goes into eternal life?

Because only those in christ are resurrected at the rapture,so the second resurrection is a diverse cross section of humanity.

It is oasas that says " once saved, always saved"
The sheep are there at the gwtj, but the bride is not.
Mat 25 has half of the virgins left behind.
Makes sense half the dead christians are not the bride either,so are separated at the gwtj

Ralph Kramden is going with what Jesus says.
Except when it comes to..

a. I will never leave thee nor forsake thee
b. Jesus will finish the good work of faith that he began in us
c. I will los nothing, but raise it up the last day
d. He that believes on the son is not condemned
e. He that believes on the Son is having everlasting life
f. When I see the blood I will pass over you
h. Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy has he saved us
I. We are in the Father's hand and in the Son's hand and sealed with the Holy Spirit unto the day of redemption
J. Thru z ETC.

and before you say JESUS did not say all of these things.....He inspired ALL and the words of PAUL are the WORDS of JESUS

You can forget the drivel in the bolded above....he looks for the blood...not our works....and the saved will be REWARDED for service/works/or a lack of works at the BEMA seat of Christ NOT the GREAT White Throne where ONLY the lost will be judged....wake up man....your café blend is false and contrary to the bible.....and get it through your head that salvation is based entirely upon faith........

HE states clearly...WHEN I SEE THE BLOOD, NOT WORKS, I WILL PASS OVER YOU
I do not disagree with you here about the BEMA seat of Christ, is that Matt 25 or not? Are you guys saying that the GWT is Matt 25? If that is a yes, then why does the king separate the nations into 2 groups, and after judgement one is given entry into eternal life the other eternal punishment. I think Matt 25 is the BEMA seat, not GWT and what we see in Matt 7.

Another poster said Matt 25 was the GWT, is that what youa re saying as well? I am just terribly confused now, by what is being said.
