Why are you blind to eternal security....is it because you dogma gets flushed since it is true........yep...that's the ticket
Once saved always saved does not change the fact that if you are unsaved and living in your old life at the return of Christ your goose is cooked. It doesn't matter if you had salvation and lost it, or never had it to begin with, your goose is cooked either way.

Sorry DC. But from what I read on this thread 99% are saying this.

Seems that many argue from eternal security side but say ," It is really not by works, but you WILL have works. And if not. you really were not saved." Making it(salvation) BY WORKS.

Our works and service is to glorify Christ. Our belief/trust in Christ is for salvation.

Many, many, many believers STOP on START and live a life of divine discipline and worthless works. Still saved though.

A believer SHOULD have works and SHOULD Glorify Christ. Many do not. But they are still saved.
Yeah I disagree......and have made numerous references to those who have works of wood, hay and stubble that get fried yet they are still saved, those who have exercised faith have done the work of the Father and even an apple tree is an apple tree before it bears one piece of fruit.....it is faith and faith alone that saves a man.....any fruit or work is the result of the faith and salvation one already possesses in Christ eternally by faith and Christ through us as a living sacrifice..... end of story

See....this is nothing more than a works based lie.......there is no loss of salvation....the only thing a saved child of God can lose is rewards.....get over it!

You seem to contradict yourself regularily .....you say the above and then say a man must have works to be saved .....a total contradiction......
Are you purposely being ignorant of the argument?

You DO NOT have to have works TO BE JUSTIFIED.

You do HAVE to have works at Jesus' return because that's what new creations by nature have as a result of being new creations, just as unsaved people have no works/bad works by nature as a result of being unconverted.

If you do not have a new nature that walks in the Spirit you do not have the Spirit and you will be rejected when Jesus comes back. You do not belong to Him if you do not have the Spirit. That's how and why you have to have works when Jesus comes back. Saved people have works. You say saved people will have works, but then you say in another post you don't have to have works. You are the contradictory one.

should a believer even notice that they have works?
like, should it be just something they naturally 'do' and don't put 2,371 pages of conscious rhetoric into? judging themselves or others over it, or worrying all day about whether they are judging or being judged?

Are you just dense.....believers have done the work of the Heavenly Father in belief....and your flat wrong...many will have works of wood, hay and stubble that get burnt up yet they will still be saved.....wake up....only the plenteous in number group boasts of works........they get cast......I suggest faith not blended with works for<----a losing ticket!

Are you purposely choosing to not see what I wrote?

It doesn't matter if you had salvation and lost it, or you never had it to begin with. If you're still in your old unconverted life when Jesus comes back you're fried. You will not be saved. How does once saved always saved rescue you from that? Explain.

Okay, so now you're saying you don't have to have works when Jesus comes back. You keep flip flopping. Make up your mind.

Does not matter..your first line is a misnomer and false....there is no such thing as the loss of salvation.....so the rest does not matter......

Be serious, bud.
How can you act like this and claim to be a Christian?
My point stands...you accused me and lied in the process....how does that help your case? How does that prove your saved...? I suggest you go back and read....I never said anything about your avatar pal....
