I got this too. And I told him to enter into the discussions and many will help.

Thank you. It came with a friend request, of course. I am very suspicious.

He sent me one too, along with a request. Just report it by clicking on the triangle with an ! in it, at the bottom left of the PM..

I got a similar message. He only referred to himself as John, and to me as Willie.

Gosh, do I have to have suspicions of him, too?

If you unfriended him, did his request go away? It's staying. Irritating.

What is there to report? He's done no harm imo.

Why not just offer him the help he requested and leave it at that?

I sent him some free resource info and added him as a friend.

I welcomed him to either post here, or privately if he felt better about that.

I unfriended him, but you need to check the little box by his name, then click on "reject request" underneath it. A box will pop up asking if you want to unfriend him, just click yes..

Because he's asking people for their actual name and other personal info..ain't no way I'm telling him anything about me..

So, tell him your name is Joe, and you live in Montana. I hope you don't think we all really ever tell our real names here?

He wrote to me twice. I told him to call me Magenta, and to post in the forums :)

I didn't respond to him at all, especially after he used the classic line "I'd like to know you better"..
