Peter would not want you to be outraged.. may you be at peace my dear.
That's the whole point... PJ wasn't outraged, stayed calm, and cool tempered, and he still got canned.
You know there HAD to be a huge amount of bearing false witness to kick him out. That's sad, very sad.

Absolutely NOT.
They don't believe we can walk without sin.
They misuse 1 John 1:8 to imply that the obedient are liars.
Have you ever wondered why you can find no other Christian who agrees with you? Nobody believes your “I never sin” claims on either forum I have seen you participate in. That ought to tell you something. I understand that a number of people believing something does not mean it’s true, but generally speaking, if a belief is tenable, you will have at least some support from other people.

And that is aside from the records in the Bible stating that all men, saved or not, sin. Christians are saved sinners, not sinless people. There are biblical records of both Paul and Peter sinning after becoming saved, and Paul writes quite a bit about why we still sin in Rom 7. John wrote in 1 John 1:8 that if we (saved people) claim we have no sin (present tense) we are deceived and the truth is not in us. Do you understand that deceived people do not know they are deceived?

Not by works( NOT VOID OF WORKS) but by grace thru FAITH.(eph 2:8-9)
Justified by works and NOT BY FAITH ALONE.(james 2:24)
Faith that Worketh in Love.(gal 5:6)
Faith and Action Working TOGETHER.(james 2:22)

Salvation is by GRACE through FAITH and NOT BY WORKS(of ourselves).(#1)

It is NOT BY FAITH ALONE(#2)but it WORKS in LOVE(#3)thus FAITH & LOVE(works of obedience(romans 1:5) manifested in ACTION and in TRUTH)(1john 3:16-18)are working TOGETHER.(#4)

2 John 1:6 AND THIS IS LOVE: THAT WE WALK IN OBEDIENCE TO HIS COMMANDS. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you WALK IN LOVE.

THE FIRST PHASE OF SALVATION IS TO BELIEVE IN THE ONE THAT GOD HAS SENT AND IN HIS WORD OF TRUTH, THE GOSPEL OF OUR SALVATION.
(john 6:28-29, eph 1:13,romans 10:8-17).
THROUGH THIS FAITH WE WILL RECEIVE THE PROMISED HOLY SPIRIT(the Helper/Counsellor)(gal 3:14, john 14:16-17)

John 6:28-29 Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the WORKS GOD REQUIRES?” Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to BELIEVE in the one he has sent.”

THE SECOND PHASE IS THE WORKING OUT OF THAT SALVATION AND REMAINING/CONTINUING IN THE FAITH TO THE END THROUGH OBEDIENCE TO GOD’S WILL AND COMMANDMENTS, DOING GOOD WORKS. WALKING AS JESUS DID AND BEING A PART OF THE BODY OF CHRIST WHO DOES THE WORKS BEING LED BY THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST WHO IS THE HEAD.

Ephesians 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, HIS BODY OF WHICH HE IS THE SAVIOR.

1 Corinthians 12:28 And in the church God has appointed first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then workers of miracles, also those having gifts of healing, those able to help others, those with gifts of administration, and those speaking in different kinds of tongues.

1 Corinthians 3:9 For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building.

John 14:12 I tell you the truth, anyone who has FAITH in me WILL DO WHAT I HAVE BEEN DOING. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father

1 Corinthians 15:2 By this gospel you are saved, iF YOU HOLD FIRMLY TO THE WORD I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.

Romans 1:5 Through him and for his name’s sake, we received grace and apostleship to call people from among all the Gentiles to the OBEDIENCE that comes from FAITH.

Philippians 2:12 Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always OBEYED—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—CONTINUE TO WORK OUT YOUR SALVATION WITH FEAR AND TREMBLING.

Romans 6:16 Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone to obey him as slaves, you are slaves to the one whom you obey—WHETHER YOU ARE SLAVES TO SIN, WHICH LEADS TO DEATH, OR TO OBEDIENCE, WHICH LEADS TO RIGHTEOUSNESS?

2 Corinthians 9:13 Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the OBEDIENCE THAT ACCOMPANIES YOUR CONFESSION OF THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else.

Ephesians 4:11-13 It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to PREPARE God’s people FOR WORKS OF SERVICE, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the FULLNESS of Christ.

Romans 2:7 To those who by persistence in DOING GOOD seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life.

Galatians 6:9 Let us not become weary in DOING GOOD, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus TO DO GOOD WORKS, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

1 Timothy 6:18-19 Command them TO DO GOOD, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.

Hebrews 5:8-9 Although he was a son, he learned OBEDIENCE from what he suffered and, once made PERFECT, he became the SOURCE OF ETERNAL SALVATION for all who OBEY HIM.

Matthew 19:16-17 Now a man came up to Jesus and asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?” “Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, OBEY THE COMMANDMENTS.”

Matthew 25:21 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful SERVANT You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. COME AND SHARE YOUR MASTER’S HAPPINESS!’

WE ARE SANCTIFIED BY THESE TRUTHS AS IT IS WRITTEN:
John 17:17 Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.

James 1:22 BUT BE YE DOERS OF THE WORD AND NOT HEARERS ONLY deceiving your own selves.

Romans 2:13 (For it is not the hearers of the law who are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

1 John 5:3 For this is the love of God: that WE KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS; and His commandments are not grievous.

1 John 3:18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

Ephesians 3:19 and to know this LOVE that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all THE FULLNESS OF GOD.

THE THIRD PHASE OF SALVATION IS SALVATION FROM GOD’S WRATH. THIS IS DEPENDING ON GOD’S MERCY AND JUDGMENT(JUSTICE).

Romans 9:15 For he says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.”

1 John 4:17 In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, because IN THIS WORLD WE ARE LIKE HIM.

Matthew 12:36-37 But I tell you that MEN WILL HAVE TO GIVE ACCOUNT ON THE DAY OF JUDGMENT for every careless word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.”

John 16:8 When he comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment in regard to sin, because men do not believe in me; in regard to righteousness, because I am going to the Father,(ref:john 14:12) where you can see me no longer; and in regard to judgment,(ref:hebrews 10:26-27) because the prince of this world now stands condemned.

Romans 2:5-10 But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed. God “will give to each person according to what he has done.” To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile; but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.

Romans 14:10 You, then, why do you judge your brother? Or why do you look down on your brother? FOR WE WILL ALL STAND BEFORE GOD’S JUDGMENT SEAT.

2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.

Hebrews 9:27-28 Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, NOT TO BEAR SIN, BUT TO BRING SALVATION to those who are waiting for him.

1 Peter 4:17-18 For it is time for judgment to begin with the family of God; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for THOSE WHO DO NOT OBEY the gospel of God? And, “If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the SINNER?”

Just for the record and I have said it before I liked PJ, the majority of the time I could see his heart even though I would say that he didn’t explain it very well.

I genuinely beleive he has a heart for people, broken and hurt people.

Many many many many pages ago when I opened up a little, well not a little he pm’d me and said “I wish I was sat next to you cause I would give you hug” Yet there were others who generally liked his posts who condemned me.

Those who did condemn me are no longer here and sadly neither is PJ.

I do have to say though that PJ did step over the line.

I myself and a couple of others tried to explain that the way he approached it was not biblically correct and before he bought something into the open he should have gone behind the scenes and engage with the person he came against.

I have no idea as to what leads to a ban. Whether warnings are issued first.

But I do feel as you say that some of the retorts to him seemed quite harsh.

The particular person he can against which I feel led to his ban (not to person getting him banned) has always come against what he feels is wrong but has always said “I do not condemn you but what preach, and if we preach stuff that is not correct then it’s works of wood straw Hubble but we will still be saved”

But I think he couldn’t see past him feeling he was condemned.

Anyway PJ are in contact outside of this site. And I do love him as a brother in Jesus.

But I will finish with

Lets encourage each other, walk in love with each other and if we disagree with doctrines ensure we make that clear.
We will all stand before God One day and answer to him and him only.

Let that be the focus so that we have more works that stand the fire than those those that don’t.

Yeah bill we do try to get along but well sometimes people go overboard and get banned, the reason for most banning as far as I have seen is,doctrine opposite of the bible and pushing it on people,or willful malicious persistent actions, such as unrelenting insults or harassing someone,or posting someone's personal information or naturally posting something willfully explicit without remorse.(as in you do it again and get banned)

yeh I liked grace777 as well. He is one of the most humblest gentle patient person I have seen here.

I used to love the way he said when someone tried to tear him apart “Thank you for your repsose as it gives me the opportunity to preach Christ crucified”

Lets he honest how many of us could hold our hands up and say we would do the same having not taken it personally like he never did.

I can’t hold my hand up.

Of course this forum and being part of it will have its TOS which must be respected.
I think on the whole discussion between all of us is ok even with we disagree.

But I do have to say if people on here are only here to condemn others who don’t agree with them and that’s their purpose with no regards to engage then action must be taken.

Just like Jesus did with the Pharisees.

And as far as "warnings"before being banned I myself have received a few when I posted something "questionable"(something that may or may not be willfully explicit or give a wrong impression,or viewed as bad conduct such as wall texts or looking like I was going to get members to join a different site)
I've had a few close calls or at the least a few times to seek correcting somethings or do better, but I think banning is more of used quicker for people who go over a line and don't care,or someone who exhibits a very upfront bad conduct, such as a few people having somewhat indecent avatars or someone using curse words blatantly here, some don't get banned as quick because some use a doctrine or hide behind pms and so as much as a few people may seek such an individual banned you gotta have "proof" of something and a "reason" for someone to be banned such as perhaps soliciting through pms or "troublesome" behavior.

Evening Seohce,

I hope all is well with you.

You have posted a lot of verses.

I have read them all.

Can I ask that you do this simple man a favour.

Would you mind summing up in a nutshell what it is you are trying to say.

While I did not agree with PJ’s theology, it is unfortunate and sad that he was banned. Same thing with grace777. This is not really a Christian forum, its much more restrictive. Its a forum for people who believe as the owner and moderators do.

I’m guessing that PJW won’t be around much longer, too.
not necessarily it's mainly about "behaviour" PJW may have a similar view as peter and some like me don't view it as true, but that's "not reason for banning" if PJW tries to as I call it "force feed doctrine" as in push a doctrine on to someone to the point that someone feels attacked or spiritually crushed then there is a problem same with my side of things, now yes things get heated in any discussion but so long as no "rivalries" or "vendettas" are made then we can continue with what we believe is true biblically and speak on it but when a person starts getting "personal"(focusing energy on one individual possibly harassively)then it may be grounds for banning, now granted some doctrines are as I call it "way out there or rather on the line of ludicrousness" like the flat earth idea a few have lasted days some have lasted months but if things start getting "unbiblical or more speculation with desperation" then mods may consider banning because if a view becomes "pointless" yet a person still persists with no "valid point" then it's viewed as unedifying and chaotic, and mods may see fit to ban for that reason.

your point is mis-founded somewhat. there are only one reason to be banned (short term /long term) the rules, or the rules. Mod's do not just banned nor do we banned just because a poster does not like a : person, doctrine , disagreeing with you, or unwilling to agree with you.

also there are other ways to handle each situation and all can and do work.

1. remove post
2. pm person and warn them
3. ban them
4. speak to other Mod's for more input.

as far as proof goes Admin can see it all. we do not come on after and say why person is warned or banned. That is nobody's business. You will have to ask them.

For the record, this is a Christian site, but I am not surprised by your comments and defense of some given your many errors.

You can always go start your own site where heresies are tolerated over sound doctrine.

your point is mis-founded somewhat. there are only one reason to be banned (short term /long term) the rules, or the rules.

Thanks for clarifying and thanks for moderating.
Its something I wouldn’t want to do.

But can I ask a question though?
If a person has been banned how can we ask them why?

While I did not agree with PJ’s theology, it is unfortunate and sad that he was banned. Same thing with grace777. This is not really a Christian forum, its much more restrictive. Its a forum for people who believe as the owner and moderators do.

I’m guessing that PJW won’t be around much longer, too.
Well there is nothing wrong with having a preference for "order" on a site.
Other Christian sites do it too,for example many other Christian sites, close threads as soon as an OP is no longer apart of the thread or stops responding to their thread,or some if a person asks you a question and you don't respond then it can be grounds for banning or at least considered misconduct.(because unlike here you can tell if someone quotes you so you don't have much of an excuse for not responding)
Every site is different in a fare few preferences but it's no surprise nor is it wrong because after all if an overall "main order of conduct" is not established then a site can become chaotic and perhaps end up having to close down,we all ought to remember that any Christian site is for "fellowship" through "learning" "discussion" "prayer" "encouragement" and "guidance" not "ego adding "one sided arguments" or "pointing fingers" we should all be here for either God/Jesus,learning God's word(for whatever reason) or at the very least conversations that lead to uplifting one another or even forging friendships as some tend to come here for.
We ought not to be judging big ego type people that wanna run off the first person that disagrees with us,we ought to be civil, orderly, welcoming, and compassionate toward all that come here though a fare few do come here seeking to "cause trouble".

For the record, this is a Christian site, but I am not surprised by your comments and defense of some given your many errors.

You can always go start your own site where heresies are tolerated over sound doctrine.
We have differing opinions as to what sound doctrine is. I'm just as convinced you're the one holding to many errors. You have no problem calling people who do not agree with you "heretics". Have you considered the possibility that you just might be wrong on some things?

From my understanding of the scriptures, Calvinism is heresy, notably the belief that God pre-determined who will be saved and who won't.

In your opinion, does my belief disqualify me from being a Christian, or should it disqualify me from participating in this forum?

I hope not.

Can you elaborate his many errors and the heresies you think he has tolerated.

He posted that he didn’t agree with PJ’s theology but liked g777.
Both people’s theology seemed to be poles apart.
Maybe he was just saying that on his site people should be allowed to express what they believe.
Just like you do and just like I do.

Shrume just so you know this is not me trying to call you out or come against you.

Exactly.

Obviously, where two people disagree, at least one of them is wrong. Does that automatically make them not saved? Not a Christian? Not worth speaking to or listening to?

I am very convinced in what I believe. We all should be. But we should also be open to the possibility that we might be wrong on some things. If you refuse to read posts from people who disagree with what you currently believe, or automatically dismiss them as heretics or ban them from the site, how can you learn and grow? How can you test what you believe? If nothing else, you can frequently learn WHY people believe as they do, maybe even develop a little empathy for them. Is that bad?

Our church uses the name "the Church by Christ Jesus (Eph 3:21)"
It is just Christian.
It is written..."Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin." (John 8:34)
Jesus said it, so it must be true.

Do you believe the Spirit part of JESUS is GOD Himself?

So does that mean you believe PAUL is a Servant of Sin, and you are not?

Romans 7:25 (ESV)
[SUP]25 [/SUP] Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin.

I have read it multiple times, and I have the Spirit of God.

Please specify which scripture, as so many have been used on both sides of the obey or not obey argument.

My accusals were an effort to get folks to quit using that scripture improperly.
By getting them to see that what is written does not apply to every circumstance is important if they are ever going to actually "turn from" sin.
I mean, if scrip' is improperly used to says you can't be perfect-sinless, who is going to try.
Look how many times that one scrip' , (Rom 3 ?), has been misused.
And how about all the misuse of 1 John 1:8?
And Romans 7?
Many will use scripture improperly to seal their own destruction.
Romans 3:23 - you said i 'changed the words' and that it should read all 'have fallen short' - specifically past tense - of the glory of God ((your argument being that you no longer fall short of His glory)).
That is clearly not true; the scripture definitely says 'all fall short' - present, ongoing, passive tense.
i showed you that, and you accused me in return of making Christ a sinner and therefore God a liar.

So who is the one actually trying to change the words of scripture and who is the one using it improperly, and who is making God out to be a liar?
