Exodus 34:5-7, "Then YHWH descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the Name of YHWH. YHWH passed in front of him, and proclaimed: YHWH, YHWH Almighty, merciful and compassionate, longsuffering, and abounding in righteousness and truth. Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity, and transgression, and sin; but by no means leaving unpunished those who are guilty; Who visits the sin of the fathers upon the children and the children's children, to the third and fourth generation."

Exodus 34:5-7, "And יהוה came down in the cloud and stood with him there, and proclaimed the Name, יהוה, "And יהוה passed before him and proclaimed, “יהוה,יהוה, an compassionate Strength and showing favor, patient, and great in loving-commitment and truth, watching over loving-commitment for thousands, forgiving crookedness and transgression and sin, but by no means leaving unpunished,a visiting the crookedness of the fathers upon the children and the children’s children to the third and the fourth generation.”

Immutable attributes .

God does not have a name like us needed to tell each other apart. He owns all things

Exodus 34:14 For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:

Exodus 34:14 For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:
So in the Hebrew "name" is in that verse is
šə-mōw, שְׁמ֔וֹ

where others thims "name" is
bə-šêm בְּשֵׁ֣ם

Im going to study this more...

I think He does have a name;

The pharisees forbade speaking it, but Yahshua spoke it;

Mattithyah 23:39, "For I say to you: From this moment you will not see Me, until you say: Blessed is He Who comes in the Name of YHWH!"

Psalms 118:26, "Blessed is He who is coming in the Name of יהוה! We shall bless you from the House of יהוה."

Psalm 22:22, "I will declare Your Name to My brothers! In the midst of the congregation I will give You praise!"

Psalm 8:9, "How excellent is Your great Name in all the earth, YHWH, King of the World!"

Psalm 44:20-21, "If we have forgotten Your Name, YHWH, or if we stretched out our hands to hinder gods, Would You not search this out, YHWH? For You know the secrets of the heart."

Jeremyah 23:26-27, "How long will this be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies? Yes, they are prophets of the deceit of their own minds; Who devise; plan and scheme, to cause My people to forget My Name through their dreams, which they tell every man to his neighbor, just as their fathers have forgotten My Name for Baal (Lord)."

Jesus makes a big play on this when he said...I myself AM

1. The true and living way
2. The Good Shepherd
3. The Door of the Sheep
4. Resurrection and the life
5. Bread of Life
6. The Light of the world
7. The Vine

Of course HE does.
Baruch aba Ba'shem Adonai! Blessed is He who comes in the name of The LORD.
I think you misunderstood what I was saying. I am going to study the henrew word for "name" I have studied His actuall name much. "The Lord" is not a name. calling Him ha shem adnoai is actually a pharisee law btw.

American Standard Version - Preface
"The change first proposed in the Appendix --- that which substitutes "Jehovah" for "LORD" and "GOD" (printed in small capitals) --- is one which will be unwelcome by many, because of the frequency and familiarity of the terms displaced. But the American Revisers, after a careful consideration, were brought to the unanimous conviction that a Jewish superstition, which regarded the Divine Name as too sacred to be uttered, ought no longer to dominate in the English or any other version of the Old Testament, as it fortunately does not in the numerous versions made by modern missionaries.

Standard Lesson Commentary: Concise Bible Dictionary
Yahweh (Hebrew). Yah-weh. The personal name for God, often cited as YHWH; it appears more than 6500 times in the Old Testament, the first in Genesis 4:26. In most Bibles this is the Old Testament word behind the translation “LORD” (note the capital letters). Jewish people of ancient times substituted the word Lord (adonai) for Yahweh because they considered the name too sacred to say aloud

Talmud - Mas. Yoma 39b
His brethren [that year] the priests forbore to mention the Ineffable Name (YHWH) in pronouncing the [priestly] blessing.4 Our Rabbis taught: During the last forty years before the destruction of the Temple the lot [‘For the Lord’] did not come up in the right hand; nor did the crimson-coloured strap become white/"

Numbers 6:23-27, "Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying; This is how you are to bless the children of Israyl. Say to them; YHWH BLESS YOU AND KEEP YOU. YHWH MAKE HIS FACE SHINE UPON YOU AND BE MERCIFUL TO YOU. YHWH LIFT UP HIS COUNTENANCE UPON YOU, AND GIVE YOU PEACE. So they will put MY NAME on the children of Israyl, and I will bless them."

Psalm 116:13, "We will take the cup of salvation, and we will call upon Your Name, O YHWH."

Perhaps I did misunderstand exactly what you meant, however I was agreeing with you.

Right on! I just wanted to provide some evidence, I always feel the need no matter agree or disagree to show what I believe is proff of my view. With that said praise Yah!

Psalm 86:8-11, “There is none like You among the gods O YHWH, and there are no works like Your works. All the nations, which You have made, will come and worship in front of You, O YHWH, and glorify Your Name. For You are great and do wondrous things; You Alone, O YHWH, are our Father. Teach us Your way, O YHWH, and we will walk in Your truth! Make us one in heart, to reverence Your Name!”

Psalm 148:1-6, “HalleluYHWH! Praise (YHWH) from the heavens! Praise (YHWH) in the heights! Praise (YHWH), all His malakim! Praise (YHWH), all His hosts! Praise (YHWH), sun and moon! Praise (YHWH), all you stars of light! Praise (YHWH), you heavens of heavens, and you waters above the heavens! Let them praise the Name of YHWH; for He commanded and they were created! He has also established them forever and ever; He has made a decree which will not pass away.”

Adonai = Lord........Exodus 4:10-12 And Moses said unto the (Lord, O my Lord,) I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue.[SUP]11 [/SUP]And the Lord said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not {{{I the Lord?}}}
[SUP]12 [/SUP]Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.
