E-grateful, Mr.Deacon is trying to bait you into a never ending argument. He has convinced himself that he knows the correct way to salvation through works, a false gospel. You nor the bible and a 1,000 biblical scholar's will ever convince Mr.D that we are "saved by grace", apart from works.

More misguided interpretation of the bible; his gospel is backwards for everyone to see.

Oh yes I know. I will confront him with truth for a bit, and when he has heard all his arguments exposed. I will place him on ignore with the few others like him.

I do believe in giving everyone a chance in hopes one may repent.

if you could keep the commands, you would be sinless. Only one man has that honor., and it is not you!

Bless you for your patients, there is no grace in his words nor his fake gospel. I hope and pray he changes his distorted theology before its to late, but that is highly unlikely. The Holy Spirit can correct his errant theology with a little help from Christian's.

Your right there, Jesus is the only sinless one, but He hs made a way for us to become sinless also and that is through baptism in Jesus name and those who reject it is rejecting Christ.

No, that is not true. You will not be sinless until you get to heaven.

John said it plainly, if we (he included himself) say we are without sin, we deceive ourselves and there is no truth in us.

If you think you are sinless. You are decieved, it is not me saying that's, it is the Bible.

HS Baptism saves you, it washes and makes you clean.

Water baptism gets you wet. I would look to the baptism of God. And not a baptism of man as your means of salvation. Otherwise, you are committing blasphemy (attributing to man the work of God)

So you were not baptised? How can you then be saved, you said we must obey all Gods commands.

Works in context of this thread discussion means doing something in order to save you or keep you saved. Works do not save. Works are a result of being saved, an outpouring of the Spiritually reborn. Scripture attests to the fact that these works were planned by God for us to do.

I was baptised by god himself. Into the death and burial of Christ, and into his body.

THEN I was baptised by a man in water.

when will you repent and get baptised by God?
