Do you know the biggest joke of this arena, is how day after day, years of effort are spent
discussing ideas that do not change with people who do not care the truth or who it represents.

You have to ask yourself one question before the Lord. Has He called me to be here, and if the
answer is no, leave it alone, for in the end judgement and consequences will always fall, and the
Lord will not stop it, it is His way. A bully will get what he wants, and find it is empty, a sinner
will get their desire and find it is not what they hoped, a betrayer will betray the thing they really
love and die in despair. Such is the way of sin, but Jesus brought a hope for those who are
prepared to listen and follow.

He is a disturber and accuser....I am in Australia and have to catch up every morning when I get up and am like 4 to 10 pages behind.....90% of his posts are exactly what he accuses of!
Yes, unfortunately all of that.

And, cannot own his error.

He quoted John Gill today, thinking what Gill stated supported his works gospel and loss of salvation lie.

Gill is "OSAS."

He was predecessor to Spurgeon. Both were Reformed, OSAS/Perseverance of the saints. IOW Calvinists, who are, by the way the ones who reinforced the Biblical platform of "eternal security" and fought the onslaught of loss of salvation. Eternal security had always been the belief of the church, and Hebrews was one book used mightily to defend this, believe it or not.

That Stephen63 would quote him, and completely miss all that is remarkable. There was no comprehension of what Gill stated in his commentary. He still claimed, foolishly, that the Gill quote, and others cited (who were also OSAS sources) were proof to his false doctrine.

He can't own his glaring mistake and, well, total ignorance of his cited sources.

It is not remarkable that a person could read things into a commentary that are not there as well as into the biblical text things that are not there when these things take place and are then pridefully denied.

It's saddening, ridiculous, dishonest and callow.

I want to reiterate that blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is boiled down to unbelief in the work of Christ as from God and the power of God....one who will not believe cannot be forgiven.....end of story!
I do love a man who is so certain he has boiled things down to one concept.
God the creator brought us scripture and history because there was no other way, yet
you have found the key, that can be written in a few sentences.

I know this will go over you head, but whose wisdom is greater, yours or Gods?

What exactly is the point that we need scripture for. I don't know why but this seems like a mish mash to me.
Uhh...it was...his view that we were worthy of being saved. We all view some things slightly differently, so since we didn't seem to be understanding I suggested that if he give some verses to help us see how he was viewing it, it might help. But he seems to have been offended by that, which wasn't what I expected or wanted at all...and hey, some stuff has come from all of our mouths at one point or another that wasn't scriptural and we were questioned by each other about it. It's GOOD to have that help. It's GOOD to be able to see we may have been using our own reasoning and then dig into the matter deeper. It's a GOOD thing to learn! It's nothing to get upset over. It's a reason to thank Him for giving us good helpmeets who love us! :)

I am giving a lesson on grace that goes far deeper than many here can fathom...puns intended....

Grace is more than a blankee, bottle and diapers....
Well that's just ugly and arrogant...are you having a bad day brother...?

I am not disregarding the rest of your post, but the use of the word callow, was perfect.;)

Peter, if you are going to attempt to belittle someone at least check your grammar. It's your head, not you head.

I see many here talk big about grace and faith and still view themselves as unworthy of it all......sounds real humble....but it speaks to not knowing what grace gave you....I am saying this as delicate as I can...
BUT I'LL BE BOLD AS THE FONT IS, IT'S CALLED "HYPOCRISY" IN THE BIBLE.

ALL PRAISE AND GLORY BE TO GOD!

I don't want to speak for him, but I think He is trying to get the point across of how God looks at us after we have accepted the free gift of salvation.
That He now counts us worthy. Worthy to walk with Him, to talk with Him, to participate in His Kingdom. He counts us as friend. That's kind of what I got, looking at the clips :)

I prefer the concision of those who believe the Gospels eternal salvation much more than the long drawn out drivel laden posts of those working for salvation in fear of losing it. Peter doesn't enjoy such concision, and oft' employs the latter methodology. :D

Just don't come at me saying I do these works to obtain and maintain my salvation, because I don't....
I think what some comprehend not, is that doing deeds of kindness from heart purity that pleases the Father is salvation continuance............be blessed

Bill...I am so touched i am crying...I have seen nothing but pure love from people today, and because we are all walking in one Spirit, i believe God has turned what i thought was going to be a very lonely day spent on my own with no one to talk to, hiding under my bed covers ashamed to come out of myself, but He has just turned the whole thing on it`s head and i feel like i have been blessed, but how can this be i keep asking myself when in truth i deserve sorrow...I felt like He has given me this day to rejoice and i truly have...Today i have really seen His love for me, i know He loves me deeply just as much as He loves His Son:eek: but today i have actually felt His love, His forgiveness and so much more i can`t even put into words...I know i can sleep tonight knowing what it means in Scripture to say " Taste and see that the Lord is good "...I am blown away...Thank you once again Bill, you and so many on the thread today has shown me so much love and support that you have ALL carried me on a wave of love and comfort, Praise God, i just feel so peaceful lol...xox...

Here is an excellent teaching to feed yourself with about the love of our Lord for us. This is the first part of week 1 on the Song of Solomon.

Each week has 2 parts to it and they are all available on youtube. I believe it goes for 6 or 7 weeks and you will be able to go to the next one by looking at the week# and part 1 or 2 in that week.

Give a listen and let us know what you hear. Bless you. You are precious in the eyes of our Lord.

Thanks Limey...at least a few are seeing this...

After conversion, we dare not say we are unworthy.....NNM said something brave and I responded to him, because nobody should feel condemned and continue feeling so unworthy and undeserving of Grace and Jesus work after conversion....

2 Cor 5.18-21

[SUP]18 [/SUP]Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, [SUP]19[/SUP]namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. [SUP]20 [/SUP]Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. [SUP]21 [/SUP]He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
