Thank you Magenta. I really needed the prayers that day. I actually need them everyday! Lol. But especially that day. I'm thankful to have such wonderful friends on here that said a prayer on my behalf when I was in need. Prayer is powerful and moves mountains. Even the smallest of prayers have a major impact. I'm keeping you in my prayers as well. Thank you again my purple friend! (That sounded a little like a Dr. Seuss rhyme )

I haven't read the Percy Jackson books, but was appalled when the students told me the girl character is Athena's daughter. Athena is a virgin. It made me wonder if the author of the Jackson series even read any Greek mythology.

the girl Annabeth wasn't born by conception. In the books she was gift given by Athena to the man she loved. She's described as a brain child. So Athena is still a virgin.

There are times when reading threads here at CC is very interesting if a person can remain objective. The topics of the threads are interesting themselves, but what I find really interesting is trying to figure out why people talk about those topics. I'm curious about a person's reason for creating the thread that they do, or why they hold a certain position of belief that they do.

No. I'm not interested enough to bother trying to have a conversation with the folks that provoke me to think about their thought process. I'd rather drop a bowling ball on my...toes. No, I prefer to ponder their intent inside my head. What goes on in there is always more interesting than what goes on *out here*.

Its almost 2 o clock already. I think I need to get out of the house. I would have gone out earlier but I had to wait for the washer repair guy. Luckily it was just a clogged drainpipe. Now I need to go buy some Affresh...

..oh and guys... the disappearing socks is not a myth!! There is a gap in the washer basin that they can get through and end up clogging your drain pump... And its the washer where they disappear, not the dryer! That's what the repair guy told me...

He said to put all your small socks (booby socks or kid's socks) and your delicate lingerie thingies into a laundry bag before placing them into the washing machine. That keeps them from disappearing into the gap...

I'm working on the rough draft of the first of my three required journal articles. It's not as bad as I thought it might be. Mostly cut-n-paste for the lit review section. The only parts I see giving me fits is the formatting requirements and then writing out the equations for my calculations all fancy and math"y" and importing them into the document.

There are so many couples I know who appear to be not well matched. The guy is a cheating jerk and the girl is loyal or the other way around. The loyal one deserves to get someone also loyal. It makes you think that maybe they were put together to give the other a chance to change or be influenced by the other. It is really weird.

I think a lot of people have this problem. I do, and the guy I want wants someone else. It's a terrible cycle.

I believe that just because someone doesn't like you does not mean that you don't know what you want.

And he is definitely attracted to me. I'll shoot you a message with more details. Haha. It's been a pretty weird couple of months

One of my pet peeves is when I talk about being busy or tired and it's met with "Just wait until you have kids!"

I could go on a three paragraph RANT about that but...I'll just leave it at the fact that it's a huge pet peeve of mine.

You're not alone. The women I've liked have never wanted to even acknowledge my existence, and most of the women who seemed interested in me are ones I wouldn't give the time of day to. I took it as a sign, but that's just me. Your mileage may vary.
