Ahhh yes, but if we could see it we would know from where it came and to where it goes from wherever we stand on this planet
But we cannot, just like we cannot see when someone is born again which was my point initially.
Thanks for the science lesson though ....I think I did learn that in grade ten but that was a few years back.

LOL, it doesn't ask if you can see the wind but whether you know from where it comes and where it goes. Have you ever felt the wind? Since the Spirit, which is translated from the Greek word 'pnuema' meaning forced air (wind) then you are actually only hearing the motion of air molecules (atoms) which form the firmament that covers the earth like a garment.
The force which produces the motion of the air molecules originate from the band of visible light which follow the circuit of heaven. Since the force produced is relative to the earth's position to the sun, thus trade winds are the movement of the air mass along the earth's surface when circuit which force the air molecules in the northern hemisphere from the northeast to the southwest, back toward the equator. Likewise the same occurs below the equator.
The wind goeth toward the south, and turneth about unto the north; it whirleth about continually, and the wind returneth again according to his circuits. Eccl 1:6
