Make sure to use the "Insert Image" icon from above the text box (that is what it says when you hover your cursor over it), and choose only the direct link to the image. Also, when the little app is open for you to insert the image url, select/uncheck Retrieve remote file and reference locally.That is a gorgeous picture of you

I have made it a tad smaller here, corrected the colour a bit, and also added a border 
Open your image in https://pixlr.com/editor/ to resize, or do any number of various edits
Once you have it the way you like it, upload to the image host
You can always preview your post before posting it to the board, also.
Then you can see how big it is going to be and adjust it accordingly

The first thing I noticed were your amazing eyes...and they don't change much with age.
This is sized to 450 pixels wide. It may appear bigger
or smaller depending on the device size people are using.
This looks quite a good size now, thanks once more

Using an image editor is fun! If you make a boo boo it is very easy to fix. I just bought a scanner so I can get some images from print into digital format. We do that sort of thing at work, also, but for my own personal pix I would rather do it myself, and not bother others at work to do it for meI, on the other hand lack such skills
The free editors are a lot less complicated than photoshop, but still allow you to do an amazing array of edits, and then you just re-save the image back to your computer. Give it a new name so you do not overwrite the original image. I usually just add on to the end of the image name, then all similar images show up alphabetically in whichever folder I have them in.

Thank you. That's a very nice thing to say.
It was after I left the military that I started hearing people tell me I had "hard eyes" and that looking at them made them uncomfortable. I think that's when I threw away all the childhood lessons about looking people in the eyes and just stopped making eye contact altogether.
Its totally showing up now... even in your original post.. I don't even think science can explain that one!
