I did that a handful of years ago.......the worst part was it was over an hour round trip to go get my wallet since I lived 30 miles from the nearest grocery store.

that awkward moment when you are playing final fantasy 12 trying to once again find a very rare game style creature but you find this awkward thread and find it so interesting and funny that you have your character run fast to the save crystal so as to save, quit and play later yet awkardly enough you find the creature that you've been looking for after several times of looking before, this time without trying to,dead serious it happened about 5 minutes after I came to this thread around 6 hours ago lol!

that awkward moment after someone calls you at 1 o clock in the morning and you have no idea who they are yet you call them that afternoon to find out who they are, explaining that they called you and woke you up at 1 o clock in the morning,and they,even though they are a stranger,chew you out as if they were part of your family!

that awkard moment when you are at church for some holiday called white elephant day and through the proceedings you after trading one gift back of all things,get A...Whoopee Cushion and you find the most obvious individual to use it on seeing as that you think it is perhaps a blessing from God(this was before I was truly with God and I was also a kid at the time please be understanding that my ideals were clearly shaky lol)and it Just so happens that A well set Lady had gotten up to receive her gift and when sitting back down you plant the Whoopie Cushion and she sits,which brings us to awkward moment #2 she sits down on it and...nothing happens! so you have this dumbfounded look on your face and her husband of all people notices the whole seen,yet he requests for her to Stand Up and her being confused does so and doesn't even look at her seat and then You scoot the cushion forward more then she sits,it makes it's loud flump noise and you receive a pocket book hit over the head,but there is nothing awkward about that lol!!!

Well. One bicycle manufacturer had a few bikes that needed parts so I swopped parts so that only one bike was out of use. I then phoned up the manufacturer for the first time to ask what to do with the bike as it had quite a few did parts on it.
The man answered. He said he would send a lorry to pick it up.
Well trying to impress I said "No need. I'll fax it to you....." After an awkward silence he said "OK, you do that then!" and I put the phone down and proceeded to the managers office with the bike.
Squeezing the bike in the office I looked at the fax machine. I was just trying to fathom out how such a large object could go into the fax machine (Fax machines were bigger back then) when my manager came in. He said unrepeatable words that translated mean "What are you doing with that bike in my office?"
I told him I was faxing it to Universal Cycles.... He said "You have never used a fax machine before have you?"
He then took the next fifteen minutes showing me how it worked in detail.... I was embarrassed... I asked the manager "You couldn't phone Universal Cycles for me could you?" Umm. He had me do it!
I rang the man and confidently said "Tell you what. I'm going to need that lorry after all!"

speaking of awkward bike moments,your moment reminded me of an awkward bike moment of mine,I was playing a game I called little hill to big hill with my bike, simply put I drove up one side of one hill at my grandmother's and successfully completed almost all of the game,all that was left was to go down the big hill successfully,well I went down the hill and the awkward moment came when I was to turn and stop(this was technically a small driveway though so only about 3 seconds to stop)well I did turn and stop but I turned me and the bike sideways fast to where I hit my ear on a tree near the drive way and my relatives were outside,noticed,and all laughed at what I did,totally awkward!

That awkward moment when a group of middle-aged guys lets you cut in Walmart because you have the same sports team on your hat as they do, and then the cashier immediately complains about them to you. Then the only register open messes up and the cashier jokes and flirts with you for 10 minutes until eventually they have to open a different register and move everyone over there.

That awkward moment when I bumped into a married coworker whom I am not too close with and he offered to buy me a snack since he saw me looking at the huge menu outside a cafe. I just said thanks, I'm on diet and I was just waiting for someone.

Are you kidding... Normal is boring! :)

Me, Myself, and I have full-length, ongoing, totally interactive conversations all the time! :p

It gets especially ugly when there's a disagreement and it's two against one... :(

For instance:

"Me" said, "Answer that post!"

"Myself" said, "Don't you dare answer!"

"I" told "Myself", "You're in the minority here... too bad..." and so you can see the result. :)

I did that once at a hospital. A lady looked at me weird as I walked in. She had opened the door and was standing in front of the sign and I just walked in without paying attention. I saw the pink walls and thought someone had painted the walls since I last visited the hospital. I looked for the urinals then I realised! Was so embarrassing trying to slip out one door in a crowded corridor near the main entrance and go in the correct door!
