Hi Ariel

Did you get a chance to think about the questions I sent you earlier?

Are you able to answer my questions now?

Do you know what a High Sabbath is? (John 19:31) What is an annual Sabbaths that is connected to feast days that do not even fall on the 7th Day of the week (Lev 23)?

Did you know all of the above are not referring to God's 4th commandment (Ex 20:8-11) but are connected to annual feast days?

Did you know that these annual Sabbaths are also connected with New Moons, meat and drink offering and holy days? Funny how they all seem to fit so well with Col 2 in the new testament is talking about don't you think?

Where in the bible does it say that Jesus is our Sabbath?

Where does it say in the Bible we not longer need to keep God's 7th Day Sabbath a holy day?

I believe God's Word how about you or are you still reading Larry Crab?

God bless you

In Vacation Bible school we collected money to help provide kids with clean drinking water.

$5 would buy enough water for a child for a year.

Most people use that much for a single coffee drink.
It really is humbling to think about.

RoboOp, the owner of the site, is a very giving man and I thank God that he gives his time and energy to run this site. He is actually live in chats and accessible to talk with.

I do believe if you have the means we should all give what we can be it time, prayers or money.

I will confess that I have donated but don't currently, because I don't have a job outside the home. Maybe I will ask my husband later when he isn't so stress out about the trailer we are fixing for his nana to live in (even though she changed her mind, she may change it again) or I get another job.

However I have talked to RoboOp and He is very understanding if you really don't have the means to financially help out.

I can't imagine the sacrifices he and his family make in terms of time and prayers to keep this place going.

I stick around because he wants this place to be family friendly and safe enough to allow his own daughters to use the site.

So I think that is a blessing.

(yeah I am talking a lot because my dog woke me up and can't get back to sleep, so kind of rambling...don't worry I will be off line for 5 days starting tomorrow)

The Sabbath means rest. Even in the OT it's not always on a Saturday. Folks should study the Year of Jubilee, it's an awesome shadow of what Heaven will be like.

I love the part about having to free your slaves and forgive all debts.

I believe God's word and if God only meant the high Sabbath connected with the feast and not the weekly Sabbath. he would have included instructions for people to keep the weekly Sabbath in the New Testament.

The fact that Jewish converts kept the weekly Sabbath doesn't prove anything. They also were physically circumcised and God tells us that it's the spiritual circumcision of the heart that truly matters. In the same way, keeping the Sabbath spiritually is what is important and this can be done weekly or daily. I prefer daily.

This is what God says about the issue:

******

◄ Romans 14:5 ►
New International Version
One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind.

New Living Translation
In the same way, some think one day is more holy than another day, while others think every day is alike. You should each be fully convinced that whichever day you choose is acceptable.

English Standard Version
One person esteems one day as better than another, while another esteems all days alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind.

Berean Study Bible
One man regards a certain day above the others, while someone else considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind.

Berean Literal Bible
For indeed one judges a day to be above another day, but one judges every day alike. Let each be fully assured in the own mind.

New American Standard Bible
One person regards one day above another, another regards every day alike. Each person must be fully convinced in his own mind.

King James Bible
One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.

*****

If you don't believe you can keep the Sabbath daily then you have fallen for man made rules about how to truly keep the Sabbath rest in Christ and may be trying to be in the Old Covenant instead of the New covenant established by Christ Jesus

The context of Hebrews 10 is willfully forsaking the assembling of yourself together as the manner of some is and counting the blood of JESUS a common ordinary base thing while trampling under foot the Son of GOD........

John was clear....with his verbiage as well...They went out from us because they NEVER WERE OF US.......
ehh....... mon you just skipped past v26 like it isnt there.......... yes it speaks of trampling the blood but how does one trample the blood? by wilfully sinning there remains no more sacrifice but fearful judgment verses 26-27 say..............
it is clear if you read it like a regular person.......... the only reason you have to make it say something else is because you say its by grace through faith no works involved like ephesians 2:8 says.......... so you see depending on the side you take OSAS or not OSAS you will have to throw away or reinterpret some other bible verses in a weird and unnatural way and completely twist them to fit your doctrine there............. the same thing has to be done by those who say you can lose your salvation when they face john 6:39-40............ so no matter what side you pick you are going to have to explain away bible verses like crazy lol........... you cant win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Ariel,

So I guess that is a no? Does that mean you cannot answer the questions I sent you below?

1. Do you know what a High Sabbath is? (John 19:31)

2. What is an annual Sabbaths that is connected to feast days that do not even fall on the 7th Day of the week (Lev 23)?

3. Did you know all of the above are not referring to God's 4th commandment (Ex 20:8-11) but are connected to annual feast days?

5. Where in the bible does it say that Jesus is our Sabbath?

6. Where does it say in the Bible we not longer need to keep God's 7th Day Sabbath a holy day?

If you cant answer these questions why don't you believe God's Word and why do you follow the traditions of man over the commandments of God? Something to think about.

God bless you

Heb 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
Heb 10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

If a person holds unto sin the blood of Jesus cannot wash it away, and then it is on their record.

Joh 6:39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
Joh 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

1Co 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

No person says Jesus is Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

Mat 22:13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Mat 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

But many are called, but few are chosen.

2Ti 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Heb 3:12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
Heb 3:13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

Jas 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation(does not sin): for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
Jas 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
Jas 1:14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
Jas 1:15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
Jas 1:16 Do not err, my beloved brethren.

Gal 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
Gal 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Gal 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Gal 5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
Gal 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

But those that name the name of Christ has to depart from iniquity.Hate sin,do not want sin,by the Spirit can abstain from sin.

2Ti 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
2Ti 3:6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
2Ti 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

No person says Jesus is Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

Many are called, but few are chosen.

Some people that confess Christ do not want to depart from iniquity.

The Lord knows them that are His,let everyone that names the name of Christ depart from inquity.

Those that believe that Jesus is Lord has to depart from sin,for the Lord knows those that are His,and it is those that depart from sin,and abstain from sin being led of the Holy Spirit.

For many are called, but few are chosen.

And Jesus lights every person that comes in to this world, and God wants all people to repent, and come to the knowledge of the truth, and be saved, and the Spirit, and bride say, anybody can have that salvation.

For we have a choice, and many claim Jesus as Lord, but many are called, but few are chosen.

So Hebrews 10,and John 6,are both about do not hold unto sin,or the blood of Christ cannot wash it away, and they are not of the Lord, for the Lord knows those that are His,those that are led of the Spirit representing goodness.

So it is not you cannot win either way,and have to throw out scriptures.

In regards to Hebrews 10:26, To "sin willfully" in the Greek carries the idea of deliberate intention that is habitual, which stems from rejecting Christ deliberately. This is CONTINUOUS ACTION - A MATTER OF PRACTICE. Now we don't walk along our daily life and "accidentally" fall into a pit called sin. We exercise our will but, the use of the participle clearly shows a CONTINUOUS ACTION.

The unrighteous practice sin - (1 Corinthians 6:9-10; Galatians 5:19-21); not the righteous, who are born of God - (1 Corinthians 6:11; 1 John 3:9).

In verse 39, the writer of Hebrews sets up the contrast that makes it clear to me that he was referring to unbelievers, not saved people: But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul. Those who draw back to perdition do not believe to the saving of the soul and those who believe to the saving of the soul do not draw back to perdition.
