I used to believe the 'canopy' idea. However, it is a perspective that someone came up with based on the assumption that the Earth was a sphere.
And, it does not in any way do away with the Flat Earth perspective.
In the context of Genesis 1:
~ There is only one 'firmament' being described.
And, having water under it and water above it.
~ God called the 'firmament' Heaven.
So then -- 'Heaven' => 'firmament'.
~ God set [ the sun, moon, and stars ] in the firmament of the heaven.
So then -- the sun, moon, and stars are in the 'firmament'.
~ God ordained that birds would "fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven"...
So then -- the birds fly in the 'firmament'. ( same 'firmament' )
Apparently not open enough...

I am trying the best I can to steer you in the right direction - "without mouth and attitude" ( I know that you are not referring to me. ) -- and beginning with the Word of God.
Do posts #136 , #188, #190, #237, and #238 not make any sense to you whatsoever?
We do have pictures of the ice wall.
We do have a historical record of people closely following the ice wall in a ship for 50K+ miles before making it back to where they started.
We do not have pictures of "the edge"; it is too far away - no one has yet reached it.
Look up into the sky -- and, you will have seen just about all of 'space' that there is...
And, if you do not believe that statement -- then -- you prove to me that "outer space" really exists! And, I mean real proof - not NASA's CGI pictures!
Why can you not understand the sheer significance of the fact that we do not have thousands upon thousands ( we do not even have one ) of - actual - real-time - whole - [ single-instance ] 'snapshot' ( especially, [ chemically-developed ] film-based ) - unedited - pictures of the whole earth??????????

Why do we not have even a single picture ( not CGI - a real picture ) of a satellite in space??????????

Why do we not have even a single video segment of an astronaut in space panning a camera 180 degrees or more??????????

These are the kinds of questions you need to examine.
My friend -- the best way to prove 'Flat Earth' to yourself -- is to try to prove 'Globe Earth' to yourself! Don't even worrry about trying to prove 'Flat Earth' to yourself. Just try - being very honest with yourself - to prove to yourself that all of the stuff you have been taught all of your life is actually true. ( If you are truly honest with yourself, and do sufficient [ honest and sincere ] research, you will not be able to do it! ) Pretty soon, you will discover that there are a whole lot of things that simply do not add up!
Would you mind narrowing this down? ( references to "the axis tilt of the earth" in Enoch )

Why not attach a video camera to any of the shuttles that have launched throughout history and record either the earth rotating in it's glory, or that long long long trip to mars?
It was this question and the above you posed that really are the best evidence the globe is a lie. When you consider they have million dollar equipment and projects and don't strap a cheap camera to them to record priceless images, you realize it's because they can't.
This is step 2 of course, and step 1 is realizing the videos and images you believe in are all fake. The satellite photos are the most obvious fakes.

I'm past step 1.
The live feeds you look at and believe are real are:
entirely CGI, these are the ones showing satellites or the ISS hover over and revolve around the earth. They look very very cartoony.
This alone should be self-evidently fake. How can this be taken as reality?

You can see the occasional bubble slip out of air pockets in the construction. Some or all of the ISS could be CGI as well, but it looks more like giant pool of water illusion used in space walks.

Never satellites in either format, and the big big vast contrast between these two videos should be enough to inform you at least one of them is fake.

Well if they fake this video with CGI I will say it, you on the other hand will believe you see whatever you are told and still haven't considered the implications of why they haven't strapped a camera to a rocket up to this point or why you can't see satellites in orbit. Complete obedience and faith in man's authority is how children believe in the easter bunny and you look at that video I posted and believe it's real.
Some satellites are visible as they orbit.
A lot are geostationary and do not move relative to earth and are hard to recognize.
Please don't continue posting falsehoods!

It is amazing the level of deception people will sometimes use to hold their conspiracy theories. My great grandma never believed that the moon landing occurred. There are some today who still think it never occurred, and was filmed in a warehouse. I suppose flat earthers would need to believe that themselves.

If stars are really what scientists say they are, then how can this scripture be true?

Is this just a pole shift? If stars fall in one hemisphere surely they would rise again in the other hemisphere if we live in a heliocentric model universe?

Don't you believe in heaven? Either you agree with scripture or you agree with the enemy and the view of many.

If one has a Solid ball and cut it in Half, one will have representation of Earth as the Bible speaks of... A canopy spreading over the earth like a tent.......Ask you selves how does a tent spread out over the ground it covers......

Glad you brought that up....Have you ever seen the Movie Capricorn 1???... In short,they never make it to the Moon. they say the moon is 250,000 miles away. The Val Allen belt of radiation lies between 100 miles to 10,000 miles from the earth.... The original article tells us that the radiation was so great that it would FRY the computer equipment on spacecrafts...No what would it do to a human........ (i.e there are clips from high ranking people explaining that we are just now learning how to protect a spacecraft against the Radiation the Val Allen Belt puts out........Did they not have this protection back in 1967?????????/. Was the Van Allen Belt there then or did it just happen to show up in modern times?

The geostationary satellites are 22,000 miles out into space..... This is the distance as calculated by the proclaimed rotation of the earth needed to make them stationary. Based upon Gravitational pull,,,,etc.....
Now and again I look back at it and used those calculations to check it out for myself..... UNTIL.......
Look to Weather Balloons at an altitude of around 285,000 ft. where there are no wind currents and they can stay aloft indefinitely in the same placement. They actually can be moved as well.........
It is amazing the lengths our governmen(s) have gone to in order to maintain this LIE>>>> They actually have no CHoice...It is preordained or rather it is what was going to happen from the beginning of creation. We as three dimensional beings cannot see it but GOD can!

I was not referring to the idea of a 'dome' above the Flat Earth, which is presumed to be solid and having water above it. I was referring to the idea of a thin ice 'shell' high up in "outer space" encompassing a sphere Earth - presumed to have collapsed at the time of the flood - with 100% of it crashing down to Earth - no longer existant at all since that time.
I understand and agree with the Isaiah 40:22 description as speaking of us living under some kind of 'dome' - as an "atmospheric cover" or "upper sky limit" - over the Flat Earth.

To say that it is entirely possible for a Christian to be deceived by Satan in matters concerning the true nature of the Earth -- is not in any way declaring their faith in God / Jesus to be fake, false, or non-existant.
Why do you think that a born-again Christian cannot possibly be deceived by Satan? Isn't that essentially what you are saying here? And, that - if someone says that you have been lied to and deceived all your life - it is somehow saying that you must not be saved?
The sin is on the part of the deceiver, not the one who is deceived.
I am not sure where you are getting that idea from...???
