Repentance is a work of God on our hearts...it is caused when God convicts us of our sins and we admit we were wrong and learn His ways and truth about how to overcome that sin.

I seen a big butterfly falling from the top of a tree last summer and a hornet rode it to the ground, bit it's wings off and picked it up and flew off.......was a trip and the first time I have ever seen that.......

i saw a the huge moth with antenas the size of 3 inches long at least it was like a giant moth ball i think it was communicating with me..

You mean "conviction" of the Holy Spirit about your sins and need to repent, right?
If you dont feel the need to follow God and do good works for His glory...,,you might not be an adopted child of God
However we become children of God because of what Jesus did and His love and mercy.
We don't earn or deserve it.
..that should make us humble and willing to forgive others even when they don't deserve it.
.it helps us love others even if they hate us.
I was sat in my conservatory once. There was a spiders web in the corner.
A bee got stuck in it and I heard the buzzing.
I watched a spider wait and when the buzzing stopped he grabbed it and crawled back from where it came.
It was like "Hey kids dinner time"
Cool....I know last summer toward fall was bush hogging a 50 acre field with weeds, grass and brush about 7 to 9 feet tall and seen more than one praying mantis like 6 to 8 inches long.....was surprised at the size....first time I had seen some that big....must be Fukushima Daiichi radiation HAHAHHAHHAHAH

I get your first part makes sence to me but works not keeping us saved im struggling with.. ok i get they dont get us salvation directly i get that... works should not be about doing thm for reward i get that too..
What i dont get is the bible referring to repentance as a works.. and something we must do or be be condemed..
I know you dont see repentance as a works and so do some leading teachers on tbn network... alll tho i do think this one is a bit ignorant sometimes..perry stone...
I like sometimes where he preaches from in jeruselem etc but he talks really fast and leaves not understanding him..
my other complaint is i find him speaking to me like im stupid sometime....
I dont know why he believes repentance is not a works but he does..

I think repentance is an act of faith. An example of a work is bringing soup to a neighbor when they are sick. Good for the neighbor. (Good work)
But why are you bringing the soup to the neighbor? is it so he sees you as good, or so that he might owe you something, or is it out of genuine love and a concern for the neighbors current condition that requires nothing in return?
Neither one sends you to heaven or condemns you to hell. But it is a good work none the less.
One might be of God, the others are definitely of man. (The difference between living in the spirit or the flesh).
You see a non believer could bring soup to a neighbor out of love and expect nothing in return also, but does a non believer have Christ, no, and won't end up in heaven as a result of that.
And a saved person ( you, me and most on CC ) could bring the soup wanting something in return (sin/flesh). Yet they/we know Christ and are still going to heaven.
It's all about whether we believe then know Christ through accepting forgiveness of sins and then receiving the free gift of the Holy Spirit then the new life begins and He works in and through us
