[SUP]7 [/SUP]as we accept His Love for us, His grace, we are then to walk in the commandments given through Jesus Christ as we grow. and this removes fear, until then Grace is doing its work while working in conjunction with the fear of God, that moves us into the obedience of God, and at that point, we no longer have any reason to be afraid of wrath, and all the praise and thanks always will belong to Jesus for what He did to bring us Home and none of us will ever Lose appreciation for Gods Work accomplished through Him, to save us.
The fear of the Lord in relationship to the life we live currently on earth, is in direct relationship to the love of God shed abroad by the blood on the Cross. We must keep in step still, even after regeneration, that, to remain in Christ we must pick up our cross daily and follow Him, and to do that we need to place our minds in Christ, the fear of God, keeps us from being duped by satan even still, for even if we live to love God, if there is not the threat of God's judgement on sin's penalty still abounding, we may think we can remain a sinner and still enter in with God. That is an investment many people will find fearful; even fearfully trembling, if they lay down their fear of God and, thus, don't understand the power of God for His good, in loving us; and His judgmental powers in giving justice even vengeance to that which He has warned us He will judge; even yet still in the results.
We must start our thinking on fear, from His perspective first, and not man's perspective. Then, we can see how it is not a thing of ugliness, but a thing of beauty in that if we are not to be in His judgement then it helps us to stay in His blessings and all we need to know of God then, is that He loves us as a son or daughter. But until heaven, fear is healthy, even loving, for it is God's character that makes it so.
