Well yes, but that does not cancel out the fact that she stayed with him, nonetheless. I'd have more respect for her if she stayed with him because she loved him and WAS a Tammy Wynette "Stand by Your Man" woman.
Its just being politically expedient is rather cold blooded and Machiavellian.
Anything by Too Short...the sad and sick thing is that most of his stuff makes sense,because it's about women taking advantage of men.
I think that people,even most feminists get feminism mixed up with progressivism.
I'm all for the core beliefs of feminism which I believe was really just about women being equal with men in everyway.
I think that the feminism that most people are aware of is the militant feminism that started back in the 60's,back then there were still some places in the U.S. where a women couldn't open her own bank account,she would have to be married or have some kind of permission waiver like a 12 yr old child,you can't blame them from being upset about that.
Progressivism is militant feminism on meth,where even the men take part in it with having group sex and pretty much doing everything that progressive women do.

I'm a Baby Boomer Feminist. The only problem I have with wolf calls, is I don't get any anymore. I've got no problems with "barefoot and in the kitchen," unless you think I'm responsible for making dinner just because I like going barefoot, and my sodas are in the refrigerator in the kitchen. I've got no problems with "women's work." What I do have problems with, and always will, is when a boss told me something when I asked for the same amount of money a co-worker who had the same job I had but was a man.
He told me, "Jim get's more money than you because he takes care of his family with his income. He also has experience in this industry."
My response? "Jim's family consist of Jim and his wife. My family consist of me and my husband. I take care of my family with my income too. And, I don't just have experience in this industry. I've been working exactly here for nine years now! I have experience in this business!"
I am a feminist because there are still meatheads like that in the world, and I'll be damned before I buy that crap! Equal pay for the same job whether you're a man or a woman! If it weren't for Baby Boomer feminists, you'd be getting paid 70% of what a man would be paid. You'd still be "get my coffee, honey" as the VP in a corporation. And you'd be blushing at your boss playing handsies with your butt, instead of kneeing him.
THAT is what feminism has given you, and I'm not backing down with I am a feminist.

Based on the lyrics, I would say that it may [ also ] be considered to be an anti-abortion song...That's a GORGEOUS song. I remember seeing a piece on a news show, saying feminists hate this song. I was like, What? This is a beautiful song. Thanks for posting it. I'm posting it again.

I don't know who Too Short is. The thing is, women in Western countries ARE equal now. There is nothing for them to get up in arms about anymore, so they make up ridiculous causes like being upset about the word "bossy". That was a feminist cause recently, trying to abolish the word "bossy". Absurd.
