I made a breakfast, but it's all gone. I made a very large tomato sandwich on sourdough bread with mayo.

Somehow my request to a company that specializes in occupational safety surveys, who has agreed to freely share their data with me for use in my research, doesn't understand what I mean when I say I need the "raw" data from the survey instrument used - each question, each response, for each employee who was given the survey. I was VERY specific in what I needed. Very.

No, I get an 11 slide presentation that has NOTHING useful. It's not even fit to be used by THAT company to present to a client, let alone anything useful to someone needing to perform a rather rigorous statistical analysis to validate the survey instrument. So frustrating. People can be so dense sometimes.

I twisted off this evening and took clippers and razor to my facial hair.

1. I think this is the first time I have posted a picture of myself here at CC.
2. Yes, I went with mutton chops. Why? Why not.
3. Before you say something, I am smiling. I have RBF. Deal.
Look like you should be in a Celtic punk band.

Was there bacon to make it a proper sandwich?
No, the bacon was in the bagel of the night before. On my way out from w*rk I got a bacon-egg-cheese bagel and added a piece of fried chicken to it. Not bad for fast food.

Fenner this is off topic but the dog in your avatar is cute. He makes me want to lay on the ground and use him as a pillow - so fluffy.

Subbing could be a good option, especially since if you aren't feeling it that day you can turn it down.
Thanks Rachel, she's a cuddle bunny. I do think subbing is my best option. Because of my kid's schedule I don't have any to be tied down to anything.

I am currently at my cousin's house in St. Louis. I have to work some (I can take some of my work with me) until she gets back from work to take me to the airport. Then I fly to California. I am doing some work Saturday as well, but then next week will be work-free.

It hasn't hit me yet that I am flying to California today. It probably won't feel real until I'm actually there.

I will have to tell myself, out loud, where I am every night. Sometimes if I don't do that, I wake up in the middle of the night completely lost. One time I was staying with my sister, and I woke up feeling that way and then I felt a foot (we shared a bed) and my heart started pounding, like "Who is in this bed with me???" and I guess I started saying out loud "Who are you? Where am I?" because she turned on the lamp and asked, "Um, are you okay?" It took me a full minute of staring at her before I realized where I was.

When you realize the older people in this chat are the ones who cause drama and argue among themselves as opposed to us younger members who just want to have fun and don't have tie for all that. Hooray for youth
