It kind of blows my mind that people call anti-Islamics racists. First of all, Islam is not a race. Secondly, inviting people who openly claim to be your enemy to live within your borders so they can more easily accomplish their stated end game of world domination is quite simply stupid to a degree that defies articulation. Nationalism can be taken too far but so can the opposite, a complete and utter lack of unity that refuses to acknowledge a shred of reality in the need to have shared values in cohesive communities. Seeing even to a small degree what has been happening in Europe with the forced invasion of immigrants who have no desire to integrate has been shocking and eye opening. Brexit was also an education. I am so grateful to Miri for clearly explaining the issues. Any time I really listened to Trump talk about something, like after one of the Islamic attacks on that nightclub in Florida, I was always impressed with how well spoken he was, and focused on what really matters, able to articulate the values we share, and his commitment to getting to the heart of the matter and doing what needs to be done to stop or at least stem the tide of such incidents happening there. He really did seem sincere. I truly hope he is able to accomplish some of what he wants to do in your country :) It will be moves in the right direction, for sure.

I would hear him speak and to be honest feel proud of my country again. I never gave up on my country but was praying for a day that could turn America back in the right direction. I truly believe God will use him in great ways. But I also pray he remembers to always seek God's guidance and accomplishes everything he spoke on.

Amen. I am really happy for America right now. I have never followed an election so closely... not even one in my own country haha :D Unless you count that time I was thirteen and had a crush on Pierre Elliott Trudeau. Hush. Don't tell Angela! Heh. God bless America! You done good and I am quite proud of you, and pleased for you all, too :) Silence the enemy! There is work to be done. I am eager to see it unfold :)

You know what else is amazing... All the money that clinton raised from billionaires like george soros, rich foreign countries, etc... compared to how little Trump raised with his campaign, and how much less advertising Trump did and also how all the media and polls were all for clinton.. It's almost like some kind of miracle...

Same here! This was the first election that I was able to vote in because I became a US citizen just after the 2012 election. I am so glad I was able to vote! :)

See you guys later..all you folks who stuck with and defended Trump...God bless you and good job!

Oh man! I can't believe I stayed up this late just to find out who would win, but I must say with the decision it was definitely worth it.

I was beginning to lose faith in this country, but with Trump winning, it shows that we finally have a hope to make America great again and the future (our children) have a future to look forward to, for this I am excited

The popular vote TOTALS were split nearly evenly, ~56 million to the winner and ~ 55 million to the loser. This is a nation divided even within each party! Still in looking at each state's electoral map it seems that the cities for example in New York voted democratic but the rest of the map is red.

Let us call big government, big spending, big cities to repentance and let us not "mall" America with illegal immigration, illegitimacy and urban sprawl.

Nope I was saying Trump would win all along.

Yeah, same actually. I was like 100% certain he was gonna be our next president, never really felt all that anxious about it.

But, Im glad he won. Now lets just hope that he actually turns out to be a good president : p

Anywho, I gotta get ready for work now, its pretty neat how I was scheduled half an hour later this morning, just enough time to watch and see Trump win, was neat : p

I think it's a bad idea to post when you are emotionally charged. Regrettable things get said. It's easy to say strong or insulting comments when you are worked up. I think it feels good in the moment to vent, but it only leads to burnt bridges.

I think we are all guilty of this at some stage... I know I am :D
