Don't go into Target a week before school starts, it's like romper room and Disney channel teen drama rolled into one. A lot of crying, eye rolling and whatever's thrown around. Blah.

Target tried to make a go of it here in Canada but failed. Spectacularly!

Target Canada was notoriously unsuccessful, with an overly-aggressive expansion initiative in addition to higher prices and lesser selection than Target stores in the United States. It racked up losses of $2.1 billion in its lifespan, and was widely viewed as a failure, termed a "spectacular failure" by Amanda Lang of CBC News, "an unmitigated disaster" by Maclean's and "a gold standard case study in what retailers should not do when they enter a new market" by the Financial Post. Target Canada filed for bankruptcy in January 2015, and closed all of its stores by April 12. (Wiki)

Christians.

Over the age of ten.

Having a 'My ignore list'.

Mommmmyyyy. Jimmy's touching meeee!!!!
(No I'm not, I'm just close)
Mommmy, his finger is right here, like, like, an inch away, almost!
(So! I'm still not touching you)
And he keeps talking, Mom.

Mommmmmmy, Jimmy's touching me, almost.
Mommmmy, Jimmy's talking again.
~Just ignore him, dear~
But, but Momm, make him stop!

A 'My Ignore List'?
Somehow, I just can't see Peter, or Paul, or James, or the Marys, or C.S. Lewis, or Spurgeon, (could you imagine?) or christians, doing that.

Well, you're a more mature, more well-adjusted person than I am, and I'm okay with that. I'm a Christian, but unfortunately, I am also a human being.

Yeah, ok, I get your sarcasm, but really, you talk alot of mature things here.....you can't deal with brothers and sisters in Christ without doing the school-girl 'ignore list' tantrum?

Somehow people who choose to try to reason things out aren't human beings such as yourself?

I obviously DID mention ways to get around some disputes, temporarily, til people, christians, can get it together again.

And I agree with melita, IF it's an absolute last resort between two people, after pm attempts, and having fellow christians mediate and resolve, like the bible says, THEN, MAYBE, two people need a time-out, lol.

But, making a 'My Ignore List'? Really?

Don't you see how it's like the popular grade-school girls ignoring the plainjane?
'Oh, we still see you, but we ignore you, except to every once in a while confront you in the hallway and tell you you're a stoopidtardo, kick you in the shins, and put you back on the 'Ignore List''.

Come on, christian. :(

If anyone put you on ignore I'd say they are way to sensitive.

By by the way, yesterday we went to an outdoor birthday party, it rained, the kids didn't care, they slid in the mud and played with the water balloons. So if it rains on your day that you're doing kid games it won't bother them.

This is where we ran into problems last week. People inferring things from my posts simply because I do not explicitly state them. Tsk, tsk, tsk.

The occurrence of a thing does not necessarily preclude the existence of it's opposite. Similarly, the absence of a thing does not necessarily mean it's opposite is true.

There would be a lot less misunderstanding if people would just ask the questions they have rather than draw their own conclusions based on minimal evidence. I know that is asking for a paradigm shift in human nature, so I try to remain somewhat patient with people, but patience does me about as much good as trying to urinate up the flagpole outside my house.

I'm pretty certain I got up on the wrong side of life today. I'm not going to get dragged through another septic tank "yeah, but, he sad, she said, and then, but you, yadda yadda yadda". Best to just log off and go do something else for awhile. That's as much being Christian as I can muster today. Read into THAT whatever you'd like...all of you.

i'm preaching tonight.

prayers much appreciated.

One word you need to work in there as much as possible:

HELL FIRE 'n' DAMNATION!

(well, the way some Preachers say it around here, it sure sounds like one word.... :) )

Praying the Holy Spirit lifts up this night..........
