Tried earwigs? I used have pet earwigs and would pick the biggest male with the biggest pincers to put with my harem of females.
I don't think I need an earwig.......there's a pretty good crop of hair already growing outta my ears as it is.

Pet rocks aren't bad either they just lay around and do nothing....
Hmm, is that why you decorate them up by painting them in "rainbow" colors?

(hehe.......he'll never get that one........hehe)

But they would have to get past my cats first. Nothing usually makes it past the foyer :p

Now it sounds like my house is infested with bugs, lol. They come in through the garage and it's worse now it's monsoon season. We usually get crickets, and the clean up is never fun after my cats have tortured them for a while. Fortunately scorpion stings are not deadly.
Aww, Cats need something to play with..lol

Aaah sister, the game is not yet won but the Lions are in with a chance.

The Hurricanes are at home, but the Lions have nothing to lose :)

Well, I have my eye on a toaster for my pastor father-in-law.

I've also considered chia pets, 50 empty tp rolls, rocks with googly eyes, "Kindness is Cooler, Mrs. Ruler" by Margery Cuyler,or "The Art of Being Kind" by Stefan Einhorn or sock puppets.

For an office Xmas gift exchange some years ago I gave a huge brightly wrapped box, inside of which was another box, and then another and then another, all the way down to a letter inside a pill container. The letter said, "OOPS! I got so involved in wrapping the present, I forgot to put your gift inside."

Then I had some one standing nearby to give the actual gift in a paper bag.

By the time the gal got finished unwrapping everything there was quite a group of people standing around watching.

One of the best gifts you can give someone is a smile that comes to mind every time they think of what you did for, or gave to, them.

FIRST OFF: Why do you have a Toaster sitting in SAND?

Now, you laugh, silly girl...........but I have been giving SERIOUS CONSIDERATION to purchasing a Chia Pet or two. As I now have a new dwelling........my very own "man cave," and was thinking of getting a pet to share it with, and to keep me company...........going through all the kinds of pets......I have pretty much come down to Chia Pets.

Cats? Allergic.....no, seriously........REALLY, REALLY ALLERGIC!

Dogs? If they shed, Allergic......even if they are the breed that doesn't shed, they are a LOT of maintenance. I am not able to provide the necessary care a dog would need to properly care for him/her as he/she deserves.

Fish? Would seem a good choice, but Fish Tanks are a lot of work as well, and the Investment in the initial set up can be quite the Bill!

Bird? Wow........too...........too........messy and noisy.

Hmm........snake........yeah right.......weird fuzzy rat looking critters? Did you read the part about them being weird, fuzzy, rat looking?

Chia Pet! Relatively small initial investment......some work required IN THE BEGINNING, low........LOW maintenance....they don't eat much, never need to go to the Vet, don't poop everywhere, SHOOT, they DON'T POOP! Never make a bunch of noise, and never wanna sleep with ya, getting their hair and stink all over your sheets.

Hmm..........Chia Pets..........hmm....

:)

How about a stuffed teddy bear? No allergies. No maintenance. Just something to cuddle with when you need to cuddle.
