So you were talking about breeding and eating things...

And when I first saw your new avatar, I was like, "What on earth is he holding? A giant bunch of broccoli?! Man, is he ever on a health kick!"

Then I noticed that the "broccoli" had eyes and a nose.

They are, aren't they?! I tried explaining it to my family and they were like "how much spare time do you have?!" Ahaha

In other news, I'm currently in a situation where I need to get up and record an album as part of my Uni degree and I'm sat in bed on here xD ha

I bawled my eyes out during the evening church service. I feel a bit better now. Thanks for your prayers, brothers and sisters.

So... I'll start things off with a song:

Tonight, I've had this profound (maybe) sense of guilt, internal struggle, and a mix of other things I've yet to fully analyse and name.

I know some of the reasons why... I made a mistake or two at work that I'll have to deal with momentarily, and it's also usually pretty slow (so I only work about 4 or 5 of my 8 hour shift). The problem is, until this job, I've normally been a very hard worker. Honest, almost working like a dog for little pay and no benefits, but sincere and enjoyable to a degree...

Yet now, I'm earning more than I ever have, doing less than I ever have, with full benefits. I'm sure there's more I could do, but I work alone overnight. It'll be busier in the summer, but until then... I've started getting bored at work. I brought my PlayStation up here to game for two hours with my best friend.

We did, and have once or twice before, but I feel really wrong about it. So that's something I'll have to stop...as well as the videos and everything else that is not work, yet time I'm clocking in.

I want to be a good man who does the right thing. I want to live up to the Christian standard, like I have several times before, but I also seem to often fail...and in several ways, did so today.

Honestly, it hasn't been anything most people would feel was of great significance, but I feel like it's been one wrong choice after another lately. I've been selfish and foolish, diving into a pit of escapism through movies, games, anime/manga...locking myself away whenever I get any free time at all.

This is going (and feeling like it's already done so) to come across more negative and depressing than I intended it to be, but I wanted to share/confess a few things. Sometimes the only way to deal with something is to own up to it/tell the truth in talking about it to others.

I don't to call it venting, and I'm not necessarily asking for help or advice or anything... I just needed to say it, and take/live with whatever the consequences of those actions/decisions are.

*sigh*

AsifinPassing: I hear you man. Nothing wrong with anime per se, but if you use it as an escape it can be a black hole. I watched it happen with my brother. He was a member of an anime forum and chatroom, went to Otacon, all that. And he became someone I don't even know anymore.

(And the torrents... the never-ending bit torrents! Ugh.)

Just send it to me, no problem. I'm always happy if I can help someone out and otherwise I can't find you.
There's only garbage in my fridge.

Definitely not giant broccoli. I try to eat semi-healthy, but let's not get carried away. :p

Need energy before I get to church so i can have the energy to teach sunday school- semi-check

Realizing GOD is in control of my life and everything is done in his perfecting timing...-CHECK!!!!!

Okay, So...I have a motto.... "Everything happens for a reason".... and I have come to this conclusion... My aunts Didn't tell us about our grandpa passing away cause it hurt so much to let our dad go... I mean he died on the surgeons table... and it was so hard to cut the cord and him just "go" when we were in the other room. So, I feel better today (as you can tell) I still have my grandpas things in my house and i found his old "stetson" hat.... dang that thing is soft! lol But he wasn't a cowboy... apparently, him and my grandma liked to party... a lot lol and that's what he wore when they went out on the town.

Love my family, love my friends... and love you all for cheering me up and lifting me up in prayer yesterday.. it truly means a lot to me. <3

So a... someone whom I have no way of knowing (no username indication) gave me Rep for a reply with the comment, 'Stop speaking down to people.'

Do I speak down to people? 0_0 Seriously...I've never run in to this particular situation.

This is just me, Reece, but I've come to the conclusion that if someone has to give a person "constructive criticism" while hiding behind an anonymous system, what they say just isn't all that important anyway.

Yup. I know that sounds incredibly harsh. But God dealt with me a long time ago in that whenever I say something to someone, I have to be honest in the fact that it was me who said it. When I write notes or letters to people, I have to sign my name. And when I leave any rep here, I let the person know it was me who wrote what I did.

And my own personal policy is that I don't have much respect for people who hide themselves when making a negative comment.

I have never felt "talked down to" when reading your posts, but that's just me. I see you as a deep-thinking, compassionate person who is just sharing his heart.

P.S. I've received my share of criticism here too. And my number one personal requirement for taking it seriously is that I have to know who the person is so I can ask them a few questions in order to better understand their perspective. If I can't do that, I toss the comment right out of my mental window.
