That's a good question. The moon is made of light too, you see through it on certain nights.

Man hasn't been to the moon, it's probably impossible. The moon landing is a hoax. Here's one of the "rocks", and the only piece of tangible proof they have of claiming to go to the moon.

Correct, but this one was given to the Prime Minister of the Netherlands officially by the US ambassador and the same astronauts that claimed to have went there and picked it up. They even made a plaque for him to commemorate it and this was part of an official US propaganda friendship and goodwill campaign.

This is not the only indicator that the moon landing is fabricated for propaganda purposes, but is one of the best as noted that these rocks are the only tangible proof of the moon landing. Other then that there's several indicators from wonky video footage, the low caliber of technology at that time, the discontinuation of the propaganda campaign to go to the moon, and even just the absurd notion that they could take off from the moon after landing, and film themselves doing it to boot. And there's more than that, it's so utterly ridiculous it's almost amazing people fell for it without question.

Gravity in the style of the theory by that famous witch is not real if that's what you're wondering, that's why it also is a theory still after hundreds of years and cannot be proven.

You have the entire chapter of Job 38 to deal with.

The Creation story is not limited to one book of the Holy Bible.

Job 38 is a sequential creation story paralleling Gen 1, starting with the formation of the earth.

Genesis 1:30 says beasts, fowl and creeping things were given every green herb for meat.

well, I haven't researched it, but I think the tides follow the phases of the moon, not the directions of the wind.

if you're not into gravity, what's your view on why we throw a ball in the air and it comes back down?

I look at the same context of job 38, and I see it as God talking about his power and wisdom, some of the examples (but not all) relate to creation.

I'll be glad to broaden my horizons, if you want to explain more... so, how does God telling all the animals to eat herbs relate to animals eating meat?



I'm also disappointed that I haven't seen anyone attempt an explaination of how adam named all the animals of the field if some of them lived 100 million years before him.

The ball weighs more than air, is not made of a buoyant material, and/or does not have the surface area necessary to create lift or drag.

If Newtonian gravity were real planes could never stay aloft, or perhaps even get off the ground to begin with. For that matter you probably could not even stand up due to the mass of the earth and our close distance to it.

And then there is the X-Files factor, or unexplained anomalies. Just for some fun to break the monotony:

May I make a suggestion for all... that those who want to discuss flat earth and related theories start a new thread, and leave this one to issues directly related to the age of the earth.

No there is no attraction to the earth because there is no Newtonian gravity in reality. It would be more dependent on the ball itself and its properties and the properties of the medium surrounding it.

Lol only problem is that it is a critical bit of information pertaining to the age of the earth which supports the Bible.

Whereas the spherical earth heresy and heliocentric heresy are both lynchpins to the pagan religions involving an old earth. In fact it is why the old earth mythologists have had to revise the old earth fantasy up from millions of years to billions and will have to actually continue to inflate the age to account for their various lies.
