Woke up today to a 0 degree temperature and an inch of snow on the ground. This is one of those days where you don't get out of bed to brush your teeth or comb your hair. You just continue to lay in bed and scratch.

Every single frickin' day this week, Tequila has thrown up food/ hairballs. She keeps getting bad gas and ends up farting, which leads to poop flying everywhere.. I'm so tired of having a sick cat!! Today I bought some dry food the vet recommended to help with her inflammatory bowel disease. I hope and pray it works, because I'll have to have her put to sleep if it doesn't. I can't afford $108/month for her medicine, and I'm sick of cleaning up cat puke and poop off the floor. I keep hoping she'll just die in her sleep one of these days, but that's too much to hope for, I suppose because other than the IBD, she's fairly healthy and runs and plays like a kitten. You'd never know she's 15 years old..
If I could get her meds somewhere else for less, then her IBD symptoms would ease, she'd stop puking and the gas would go away and she'd stop farting and pooping everywhere. It's not a nice feeling when you get up at 2 am to go pee, and step in cat poop cuz she missed her potty box by an inch, and it's right beside the toilet. :/ That's happened just about 3 times now.As much as I love her, I'm tired of having her and having to CONSTANTLY clean up after her. I'm too old for this malarkey..

She has lived a long life. Bad gas and poop flying have to indicate a tummy ache. Dont you get a tummy ache when gas rolls around in your tummy? I do. Maybe its time to put her down. She may be suffering. Cats dont show weakness.Its instinctual. Its for survival.
Its always sad to say goodbye but its humane to do it sooner than later

I have been saying prayers God would protect us from crazy weather and seems some folks in the Sarasota area not so good had tornado in that area. We are doing o.k. so far just keeping my heart in God's hands and all our trust placed in Him... Yes, I do know that bad things happen to good people...just thankful God has protected us so far.
Don't know what it is so I can't say....Does it uplift your spirits? Or is it something that should be avoided? Only you know the answer to those questions.

I get it - Baby was so sick the last year I ended up having the carpet upstairs professionally cleaned after he died...I didn't get any animals for about a year and a half too afterward just to have a break from cat pans and cleaning up after a sick cat all the time....I felt so bad for him at the end and when he couldn't eat but wanted to that was it for me and I had him put to sleep...it was so sad.... I feel for ya knowing what is the right thing to do it is hard...when you love them so.
I'm gonna call ORAH tomorrow and find out 2 things: how much they charge for a month's worth of her medicine, and how much they charge for putting down a cat. Her meds worked beautifully before, but that was a 2-week dose and cost $54, shipping included.. If I rework my budget, MAYBE I can afford enough to get her meds every month.. This is one of those times when I wish I was a few thousand dollars richer than I am now..
Why did you post this question 3 times in a row? The fact no one answered it should tell you that a christian shouldn't be watching Homeland..lol.. whatever that is..

It is -7 degrees where I am right now, I have the heat at 75, and the house feels like it is 60.
I am lonely, and have been feeling like I have been living in a vortex for the past few months. I know God is developing fruit in me from it but it's really hard to say where all the authentic and trustworthy people have went. I'm hoping God will put some people like that in my life sometime soon because this world is getting colder and blacker than ever before, and it just seems like the vultures gather everywhere. And sometimes it's alright when there is something to do...which is rare because you wait...wait...wait....and you feel like you can't put your heart into the forum box because people are overly critical and self-righteous and not realistic about how far they distance themselves by the reality of scripture that it sickens God....AND wants to vomit them out of his mouth...oh but low and behold you donated your time and money.
They also like to put on a political facade that deterirates any sort of purity that they can attain with their mind and the Holy Spirit putting fruit into their life.
