Hello people! I hope everyone is having a good day :) I have my first exam today. And my school decides to give a "Preparing for Exams" workshop scheduled the day after my exam. :p Oh well, I already know I'll do well. I studied and prayed.

Feelings and emotions will try to rule us, but God told us to walk by 'faith' and not by 'feelings' so I will bless, Your Name, oh Lord. Even if I don't feel like it. I will bless Your Name at all times. Your praise shall continually be in my lips. I will remember Your goodness. You took me out of my wilderness and is leading me into Your promised land. Great is Your Name.

my mind has a question. It might be a no-brainer to most of you, but I was wondering if God forgives someone who used to follow Him? There doesn't seem to be room for error unless they were only a basic sinner starting from scratch...basically starting with no knowledge of Jesus. There is really NO excuse whatsoever for sin if you once knew Him better and once tasted of his goodness....so then u are tossed out...I can't find specific verses on this, but i gather this is the general sentiment of what happens to someone who has "fallen away" from God forever.

It seems there is much more forgiveness for the sinner who didn't know any better than to a person who DID know better but sinned anyway and slapped God in the face, so to speak. I don't know if someone like that can ever find His grace and forgiveness since they should have never left in the first place no matter how bad their personal circumstances were. Not trusting Him = immediate failure of faith...and hence removal from His Kingdom by committing the unforgivable sin...correct? No need for that person to bother returning to ask for forgiveness when "what's done is done" and might as well go live a different life alltogether (or suicide) since there's no point anyway.

Unfortunately some things are forever set in stone whether we like it or not. Am i right?

Jesus said He would never lose those that were given to Him by the Father...

All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.

And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day.

I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.

Amen! John 6:39 - This is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing, but raise it up on the last day. :)

Interesting truth....numerous scriptures testify to the resurrection/raising up as taking place at the LAST DAY...time is marked off in days...the evening and the morning was the FIRST day and the resurrection takes place at the LAST DAY....

In Revelation when the 7th trump begins to sound...TIME SHALL BE NO MORE<---the last day of the age!

Satan would like you to believe that but if you come to God with a contrite heart and truly seek forgiveness He will forgive you. How many times should I forgive my brother? Jesus told him 70 x 7....meaning always be ready to forgive. God will forgive you it is only when you stop seeking God then there is a problem... However it was because you walked away not that God would not have forgiven you.

One year ago today I met my tourist for the first time face to face. I drove over to Apopka and the first words I spoke to him were as I saw him sitting on a curb by the Hampton Inn..... You wouldn't be looking for a ditzy Blonde would you? He smiled at me and said yes, I would be ...... and the rest is history.

We had a wonderful day getting to know each other better a nice lunch out then a swim in the pool..... He left and the next day I drove back home.....of course we both decided that day one year ago we would not be able to live without each other and as of September 27th we will be married 10 months!! It's been a great year since this date last year.

Gosh, magenta, You're good! (And all the boys like ya, too ;))
As they say on the feud, 'Good Answer'.
I think 'carrpara' was trying to reference Hebrews6:4-6 and possibly 10:26-30, common verses used by those who doubt eternal security, and I apologize for my suspicion, but her post seems less like an honest question from someone struggling and more like someone with scripture knowledge, KJV it seems, trying to make a point. If I'm wrong, I'm sorry, but it 's happened alot, lately, hasn't it?
