Yes to cheesecake...I have two!! And we Are going through Sacramento, but not until later in the week. I think. We're staying put in Crescent City for a couple nights (yay for hotels!) and then...I dunno. Camping? Redwoods? Stuff?

I will save a cheesecake if you really want one. We can share. It will be painful, but we can. :p
I'm just not sure yet when exactly we'll be through there :/





Also, my husband is like, "How do you know all these people on the west coast?!" And I'm like, "It's ok, I'm actually famous." And then he rolled his eyes at me. Because he's probably jealous of my secret celebrity status out here.

...I have no idea what I'm talking about. But I just bought some vanilla scented soap at this little craft fair deal. So, yay!

I wonder why so many christians are celebrating that a dentist killed a lion
it is almost as if they want people to go out there and kill more lions
.....
I guess most Christians want to be the only ones of Gods creations left on earth
....
or maybe they just demonize predators to make mankind look better

... dunno, but I personally don't think we have the right to go trophy- hunting God's creations

I agree with your last statement.

But where are you hearing that Christians are celebrating the dentist killing the lion? Most that I know of are appalled that this happened.

Absolutely breaks my heart! Perhaps there are some who dislike enviro-nuts so much and they view God's order of creation and the sanctity of (human) life that they go to the other extreme. We're down to 3000 tigers in the wild, we're losing beautiful, majestic animals at an alarming rate, the senseless slaughter of elephants is appalling...how can ANYONE turn a blind eye. At the same time, the murder and butchery committed against human life IN THE WOMB, (what should be a sacred sanctuary), as WELL as outside it...how can ANYONE not be sick to their stomach and outraged. Though we shoudn't put animals on par, spiritually, with ppl, (God, in Jesus, became a man not a monkey), He DID choose a very intricate way to create them, and put together an incredibly elaborate plan to preserve BOTH THEM AND US, *see Noah and family*. Does anyone wonder if God is grieved as He looks upon His own creation. I think we do well to take better care of ALL of God's creature's great and small, and remember both how fallen we are, how Great God Is, and how desperately we need the grace, mercy, and love of God our Saviour Jesus Christ. (thanks, wwjd_k, for your post and letting me rant along with you, even if nobody else cares, you and God do, so thanks and God bless you.)

So just in case my hair didn't already have the upper hand in this battle...I thought it would be good to hang out in a humid, windy area for several days.

I've almost died like, five times. And that's just today.

Well...almost. The ceramic artist I am working with is going to put the handle on, then it's back to me and I have to figure out the best spot to put a hook on the back so that it hangs right.

For the prototype, I'm pretty pleased with the results!
