I think my eyes being open means I am awake. That's awake right? Eyes open?

Bread is proofing, and I'm going to take a nap. My noggin hurts something horrid.

There we go. Fixed it for you. I hear chocolate covered grasshopper is especially tasty; well it's hard to make chocolate taste bad I guess.
 
MISSCRISS!!! I spied you on! How far south did you get?

The wind died off over night and we're covered in fog here. This is what happens when it gets too hot inland, we get fogged over. :) Probably won't clear all day either, so we'll have a nice busy market albeit slow in the morning. WOOT!!

(I came home after dinner and made 5 batches of cheesecake)

MissCris is heading south?


Was thinking of heading to S.F. Sunday or Monday. I cancelled a trip to Los Angeles , but still wanna make a mini road trip of some sort since I still have Monday off.

Welllllll....we got um...into California, because Brookings was overflowing with people. But then we found out, by 1 this morning after searching, that evvvvvvery place a person could sleep was booked. No. Vacancy. Anywhere. And that's kinda what I get for being all...fly by the seat of my pants...

Anyway!! We are having coffee now and going to find a hotel for two nights. Yeeeeah sleep...!

Along with it being tourist season anyway, there's a couple big music festivals going on too. Reggae on the River! Some dude told me about that at the last hotel we bothered to sto at, and then he told me he had just rented the last room, to which I replied, "Aw, what? That's cruel." And he apologized. And said he hoped we found somewhere to sleep because I seemed cranky. I said Thanks! Enjoy your sleep in the LAST ROOM AVAILABLE ANYWHERE. And then I smiled and sleepwalked out.

We drove back to Brookings and slept in our van in a parking lot for five hours, because Adventure!!! Wheeeeeee!

Is the Cashew Juice.. ice crushed? or just piece of chucky ice?
 
they made it with crushed ice so it was very refreshing and didnt get too watered down as the ice melted it was just perfect
