So I'm looking at the prices for graduate school, and yikes... I didn't realize it was this much. The school I want to attend online is at least over 5200 alone just one semester, and that's not including any books I would need. I would love to start attending at the beginning of January 2016. I plan on talking to different schools on general once summer ends, but if y'all could be keeping me in your prayers as I move forward with this, I would appreciate. I'm going to need financial aid if I want to go back to school again.
I'm in the same boat (except I have a school already). Apply to a school where your program is well-funded. They will probably offer you a stipend that covers your costs, or offer you an assistantship that covers a chunk of it. Look for as many scholarships as you can and apply to them. There are plenty on sites like Fastweb.com, which is basically a database of scholarships, colleges, and internships. I've been basically filling out scholarships every day for the past week. I was thinking about asking for a prayer for this last night. You can do it! I will pray for you too. :)

Thank you so much for the time you took to respond to all I said; no need to apologize, as I very much appreciate it, and love hearing people's stories. (You may have noticed that I also ruminate and make long posts at times :)) I spent the day with my daughter; just before dinner she allowed me to use her laptop to go online, and I read some of our conversation to her... I was especially interested in what you said about cows coming after you if you start to run. I did not know that! 20,000 head sounds like a lot to me. It sounds like you have a wonderful life, one you have worked hard to achieve and maintain. I agree that city kids don't have any idea what they are missing. Both my parents were born and raised rurally, and for my dad this saying was true: you can take the boy out of the farm but you cannot take the farm out of the boy. Blessings to you on this day, and best wishes for a speedy recovery :)

Good morning all :)

Well, it's not 20,000 head, I would go barn yard crazy with that many.
We run 1,200 heffers, they give us about 1,200 calves a year. Some
give us twins, so die at birthing, so get ate by other creatures. It's
hard to say how many you get to keep. We have 4 bulls, the herd
is called a split herd. That's the way you don't have inbred, inbred
causes a lot of problems. I guess you would call it, having 4 herds.

The school would bring kids out here for a few hours. They would see
how farm life is today, verses a centry ago. If they wanted to, they
could ride the horses, be with the calves, feed them, and play in the
hay barn. If they were here for lunch, they roasted hot dogs, had
chips. If time permited, went on a hay ride. So, yes the city kids,
don't know what their missing.

Hello again everybody :) I am kind of back. I was able to start a job back in March with a home improvement store. My disability case did not go quite as planned as the judge said my arthritis is getting better. Yep same questions I had...what? How? So since I can no longer work out in the field I decided to try my hand in retail where my years of construction experience can be used. Two months after I started I was named employee of the month by a unanimous vote. They said it was due to my hard work good attitude always smiling and work ethic. That ooened thr door for me to share my faith with quite a few fellow employees and customrers actually. The store manager also asked me to apply for one of the "pro" positions that just opened. I love the job and it is close to my house. I was walking to work at start a bit but God provided a vehicle for me. I thank God every day for what He has done for me. I thank God for my arthritis also as if it were not for it I would not be able to witness the way I can. I want to thank all of you who have been praying for me...prayers answered :)

So if you haven't done so already...thank God for all He has given you and done for you.
God obviously placed you in that position for a purpose. Excellent testimony. Inspirational.

I recently watched an episode of "I Dream of Jeannie" in which Jeannie blinked her eyes and everyday was Sunday. That would be so sweet!
