i've been at my job for 5 yrs. honestly, i wasn't nervous when i went for the interview. i walked in, answered questions, made them laugh (which idk if that is something one is supposed to do lol), and walked out completely at peace. :)
 
My husband is a banker and interviews all the time. It's about character, work ethic, and adaptability. He's hired I don't know how many people that don't have degrees for what they're doing.

My first interview was kinda ok, and I reckon the interviewer felt the same way cause I never heard from him again;)

It's kinda funny how I got mine. We had just moved (same city, just different house) Easter weekend. I was also sick that weekend. Monday, my step dad took off work so he could unlooad boxes and work on the new house.. Me not having any energy, I didn't want to. I told him I had things to do, so I went to the library and searched jobs on craigslist. Found this one, sent an email, he called the next day. Met on Wednesday, told me about the job, then asked if I was a man of faith and to take a few days to pray about it. II called the guy I had the portering interview with on Friday, and said I'd take the job. So had I helped my step dad rather than gone to the library, I might still be unemployed today.

It is just amazing how God works. Thank you Rosesrock, I really needed to hear it and I just need to smile a whole lot, which I have always been told I have a beautiful smile because it brings out a sense of sincerity and twinkle in my eyes. A joke or two wouldn't be a bad idea either. Lol

I can't wait to share it. I am so frantic I couldn't find my hairbrush and it was right in front of my face. Lol
 
i think i might have to take a nap this afternoon.

i need to go clothes shopping because my clothes are fitting loose on me. but.. i hate clothes shopping.

Just be yourself. You know you're qualified for the job. You were good enough for your last one. These people will like you just enough, if not more. When is it?

3:30 PST. Thank You. So far I have decided to wear a black pencil skirt, cute black heels, white blouse with a cute cardigan. But I am known to change my mind multiple times

Maybe making him laugh is what put you over from the rest? Laughter is the best medicine, after all.
