Sovereign God and Father, i come to You for April this morning.
thank You for her and her family; thank You for always being with them and for them.
i ask this day You be such a presence during her surgery all there know it.
i ask You guide the hands of those in the OR and grant them wisdom and knowledge for the operation.
may all things be done according to Your perfect will, and let nothing go amiss, please, Sir.

let us regather later to praise You for Your work, even as we do now.
and may the peace of Christ dwell richly with all who await You in this, especially her parents,
for the Lord Jesus' sake, amen.
 
I saw a notice in the bookstore last week that it can be pre- ordered, but the price was "Norwegian" , so I'll wait on borrow it from the library :p
 
i checked Amazon (because i do that) and it's going to be released tomorrow!

My granddaughter's B-day is today. 16. Had a little celebration yesterday afternoon.
Thought I'd use the opportunity as an excuse to post pics. :D
My beautiful 2 daughters, 2 granddaughters, and 1 grandson.
They are really too handsome to be mine, but I'm not going to have a DNA test 'cause I want to believe they're kin to me.;)

Sure there's more than to kill a Mockingbird.........shoot.......a good BB Gun can kill most any bird. Them winged pests that poop all over my car, ruining the paint job..........

Thank you Ellie,
She's in Gods hand now. She went back around
6:50. It' a waiting thing now. She was a little
scared, after her mom promised her she would
be ok, she was relieved.

Reckon we'll just have to read it first...but apparently most of this new book was written back in the mid 50s...among segregation, Jim Crow and whatnot.
