Ah. That artwork has a deep meaning which is kinda hard to figure out, it took me sometime and this is what I came up with - That couple is thinking about something in their past which was a bad experience. Or something similar.
But this is the actual meaning - When we have a glance at life and think about all the hurtful memories, we would feel anger and hate, that's what the dark red border of that middle area conveys. That's the border because we are just glancing at the situation. Then when you go deeper into it, think deep about it and give it time, we would find this brilliant color or light which tells us that everything happens for a good reason. Finally, those two shades of red which are divided into half (vertically) tells us that love is the answer to hate and that they are just two different shades of the same color.
Cool right?

This next pencil drawing is done by a teen who posted on deviant art, using the name pencilreaper. I like this because it is really raw. She is describing how the smiling beautiful face you see may not be anything close to the suffering inside. This is a reality for many teens and I found this drawing touching.
Kinda creepy at first. :I But yes, it has a true meaning. A lot of teens have their fake smiles on. :/
