I bought chips ($4.29 for a bag of chips!) and 3 things of seafood/ lobster dip yesterday when I went grocery shopping. Two of those containers are already gone..lol.. this seafood is soooo nom nom..

Yes it's like 6pm we just had a massive thunderstorm but now the sun
is shining.
Good afternoon....everyone survive the 4th? I went to bed early around 1AM or a little later.....so late start to the morning for me got up at 8AM.....
Thinking of having cook out.... I know I have it backwards.... chicken is thawing, hamburger thawing, hot dogs ready.......Yum......I best be getting the coals ready hubby will be home around 2PM and I'd like some food to be cooking when he gets here......
How long does the chicken and hamburger need to thaw out? What happens if I just throw it on the barbie?

I survived the fourth, barely it seems. I woke up about 5 am and got ready to be at a community breakfast they have at the fire hall, its been a family tradition as long as I can remember. My dad always wanted to take my sister and I to it and I was the only one willing to get up and out of bed to attend Then we walked through a town museum and in one part they had an old schoolhouse and on the walls was pictures of me back in elementary school, so I guess I made history Then went to the annual parade and got soaked, thanks to a guy in front of me that was begging to get wet. I didn't fall asleep until 2 am.

btw, i changed my cell phone wallpaper to penguins, and it makes me giggle every time i look at it.

i'm working on getting my self-confidence back. as i spend more time in God's presence, He's healing old wounds that were waaaaay deep inside, hidden away. these wounds made me hide away from people - to not let anyone get close. ohhh but God is doing great things in my heart! and i'm excited to see where this is going
