ok so I was reading my bible last night and I came across a verse I didn't understand. I believe it was in Revelation 1 and spoke of "Jesus being the son of the dead." How is that possible? God isn't dead..
is this what you are speaking of?

5 .) And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

Evil Will Not.
That is so true for our state. In 1989, Hugo came through and changed the way
people treated and acted toward each other. I believe it was Gods wake- up call
for us. Most of our state is christian ,most of everyone treats each other with respect.
It took a super big storm from God to get our attention. It did , by 1992, they were more
people turning their heart and soul over to him.

From Gill's Exposition (and I suggest you click on the link and read it all........great read)

the first begotten of the dead:
being the first that rose from the dead by his own power, and to an immortal life; for though some few were raised before him, yet not by themselves, nor to live for ever, but to die again. Moreover, he is the firstfruits of the resurrection, the pledge and earnest of it, as well as the efficient cause and exemplar of it. This character supposes that he died, as he did, for the sins of his people; and that he rose again from the dead, as he did, for their justification; and that he rose first as their head and representative, and opened the way of life for them. And he is described in his kingly office, for it follows,

I like both of your comments......referring to the storms.......but, in this case, I firmly believe that "evil" acted through this young man.............pure evil..........and, in spite of that, and of the consequences, the LOVE OF GOD will prevail. Through Him, the Holy Spirit, and the families and friends of the victims.

That they actually, publically forgave this person of his evil deeds, and expressed sincere concern for his soul is just inspiring.

And, as a point of differing souls..........this young mans OWN Uncle said he would never forgive him for what he did, and if the State executed him, the Uncle said he would pull the lever, or push the button........

Just comparing the responses, I find it easy to see where the love of God resides

I agree with your evil comment, I was reffering to why we don't have all the hate that the other
states had with the cop killings. Even here, when the cop killed that unarmed black man, shooting
him in the back, the riots didn't happen.
Old sharpten, was here for one day,no money for him to make. Him and his group of haters packed
up their lard bucketts and went back to where they belong.

These same thoughts were in my mind as I witnessed the love of God pouring out from these people. I have a feeling though, that come Sunday, when they join arm in arm, all races, denominations, whatever to march across the bridge there, some of the Sharpton crowd will try and capitalize on the publicity.

I hope not, but would not be surprised. And, I don't think the people there would welcome their rhetoric of racial divisiveness either based on what I have heard them say publically.

Sharpton was told to get out of town, the police said they could not protect him and protect
our people. They told him, they could do one march, not over the Cooper River bridge. He didn't
like that, so they left. Then he gets on CNN bad mouthing SC. He did not tell the truth, he was
called out on it by Gov. Haley. They swept it under the rug, so as to not hurt their rating, their
ratings are in the gutter anyway.

Been depressed the last few days.. the enemies tryin' to drag me down.. I watched a memorial video on youtube, about a 3-yr-old girl who was shot and killed by her father on father's day some years ago.. who the he** would shoot a child?!! I cried.. He was going through a divorce, despondent about custody agreement, so he took her for a couple days, didn't bring her back, let her call mommy and talk, then got off the phone and killed her and himself.. :(

Well I see the iPad is acting crazy again, I type in the letters, it removes them. I type them
in again, same thing. Then by the fourth time, it locks me out, I cannot correct it once it locks
me out. My wife had, Apple tec. support to work on it Monday and Tuesday, they said it was
fixed, wrong.
I guess I need to take it down to the cement pond, and see what water will do to it,
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I don't see how anyone could kill a child. When you turn on the news, the news people call
these people, moms and dads, not me, I call them animals. Divorce, is not a permit to kill
your child to get revenge.
The wife and I have friends, that have went the divorce route, their divorce, ended better
than most. With that, I mean, they still talk to each other. They don't try to use the kids
against each other.
I don't know the answer to your question, wish I did.
