I gather it depends on the diocese, or something like that, or perhaps a large family bible was allowed as long as it contained the Apocrypha. In the 50's and early 60's it was not seemly for catholics to have a bible.

Actually, if you think you can continue in sin then according to the bible you should know that you would not be truly saved. Salvation transforms us---makes us new creatures---and changes our paradigm so that we abhor sin. If you think we can take God's grace for granted, then you are talking about a false gospel.

Give the guy a break already! Of course he talks about Mary, because that seems to be one of your main points of attack. There is much more in the RCC that flies in the face of God.

You may have not like what i said about Mary mwc68 but this is exactly what the Roman Catholic Church teaches and you know it is what they teach!

Yet some how you feel by attacking you do not have to produce any proof of what you teach.

Prove me wrong mwc68 that the Roman Catholic Church teaches Mary had to be without sin to keep Jesus without sin but yet Mary's mother did NOT have to be without sin! COME ON mwc68 prove me wrong!!

I know for a fact mwc68 will attack me instead of answering the question.

If what the Roman Catholic Church teaches is not in the Scriptures then it is from Satan mwc68, not God.

So you have admitted that Mary was born into sin because God does not backup what you teach mwc68.

So why mwc68, if God did not say it, are you still following Mary and the Roman Catholic Church?

I have proven the Roman Catholic Church is teaching you lies mwc68. So why are still in the Roman Catholic Church if all they do is lie to you mwc68?

God did say it through His Church. I know you won't accept this, because you make up your own dogma
 
You see we have, Sacred Scriptures( the 73 books of the bible), Sacred Tradition passed on orally, and the Magisterium that is the final authority. People, this is what i believe is real and judging by the wide range of opinions here, Go It Alone, doesn't seem to be working

The bible shows that if what they say contradicts or does not align with scripture then it does not come from God.

Just like prophets, if a person claims to be a prophet and gives a prophecy that does not come to pass then they are a false prophet.

God gave us His word so that we can tell false teaching from true teaching, and it clearly gives warnings to not add or take away from what was already written.

That is your opinion and i, unlike you, will say you have a right to believe that. I believe differently and now have no hope you would ever respect that!

God, through the Catholic Church, gave you the bible. You can deny this, and of course you would be wrong,

the jews had the OT (minus your added books) the Talmud, and their priesthood.

Funny how the same mistakes keep happening, over and over and over.
