project: make eye contact with people update

first day, i did well.
2nd day, not so much.
3rd day, even less.
today, meh.

lol

Eye-contact? That's crazy talk. I couldn't even contact my school books, back in the day.

Blond was wondering could she borrow your toothbrush? Share everything huh? Except yogurt.....

I'm speechless.

There is a joke somewhere in there.....can l get back to you?

I'm puked in my mouth a tiny bit, so give me a second.

Hey Melita, here is something you can try. My wife
was going through the same thing. My wife has
beatiful eyes,so I wanted people to see them. I
bought her a real dark pair of sunglasses. She
could look at people and they would not see her
shyness. It took about a month, then the glasses
came off. She has no problem with eye contact
today.

sounds like a good idea. i wonder if my boss would let me wear the sunglasses at the office

Melita, I know you can't wear them at the office, or
most places would not go for it. My wife owns her
on bussiness, since we got out of college.
The way we did it is, out in public, total strangers.
It will not work with family or friends, you already
make eye contact with them. So where ever you
go, have glasses, start talking to strangers, small
talk. You will get there, don't give up.

What a great piece of advice, Frank.

eye contact with family/friends is not difficult for me cuz i'm comfortable with them :)

i'm trying to get better by making eye contact with our patients. those who make conversation make it easier for me. the ones who don't talk at all make it difficult. it does get easier with practice, but sometimes, i'm just tired lol i'll get there tho :D

The pizza guy would be a good start. People at the mall.
The reason that I said total strangers, if you mess up, they
don't know you anyway. My wife didn't need it for her
emploees, she needed it for her clients. So of those clients
are like BDF here, the bad ones.
Anyway you can try it, if it works, great, if don't back to the
drawing board.

Well it's off to the garden to pick some maters, leaf lettuce,
and green onions. I see blt's in the very, very, near future.
First maters of the year, they should be great.

My new iPad hates me also. I have spell check turned off,
guess what, it still does what it want to. It adds letters, it
takes letters away, you spell a word right, and it changes
it. I started to take down to the pasture yesterday, and put
it down like a rabbid dog. My wife would not like that though.
