I got a praise this morning. God has provided a big chunk of what I needed so far. There is still a ways to go.
(I need a little less then $2,000 in sales now,the only thing is I need in a little less two weeks and that's about half of what I took in all of March,April and May combined)

For the LORD has chosen Zion;

It's not relying on others. It doesn't even have anything to do with friends. It's being stuck in an environment that you can't get out of for quite some time. And please don't say something like God will lead you out of it. Because I get that. That doesn't change the fact I'm stuck in a verbally abusive environment for the time being.

You sound as though you had a rough time too.

You may not want to do this, but I have heard people talking about the Red Cross covering hotel costs when there were fire emergencies.

Thanks for the info....it pinches our pocket but I feel there are people more in need than we are at this time and would feel guilty taking funds away from someone who does not have funds to cover the hotel like we do at this time. Chalk it up to one of satan's unpleasant dealings with Christians... He might have won this fight hurting us a little but we with Jesus have won the battle/war.....so one day soon the fire he tried to hurt us with will destroy him.....

For us this is a minor inconvenience for him it will be THE END.....

Why does life have to be so brutal?

That's a good question and one you will ask many times as I have....But the Great news is that you don't have to go through the bad times alone. You can reach out for help here or just lift up a prayer to Jesus as He has promised to be with us to the very end of the world.

Sending you an internet hug and some cookies to help soften the blow of what ever is hurting you now....wish we could sit down together munch and chat about what is bothering you and if you need to you can always PM I can listen when you need to have someone do so......Cookie?

Good morning everyone, I'm burnt to a basic crisp! Had too much fun yesterday at the baseball game, and it never crossed my mind to bring sunscreen!

guess lesson learned huh?

btw... Did I ever mention I'm IRISH!! We don't taaaaaaaaaaan!!! :-(

I really try to think about Lord,
All day and to pray in name of
Jesus at least 3 times in a day.
It's easy to be tempted by little and

She is adorable! I volunteered at the humane society and there was a dog that looked just like this but was missing a leg. It was so cute. I almost cried when she got adopted.

(so you don't smell like you're at the beach while you're there lol)
aloe, even baby oil put on right after a shower before you dry off.

can you tell we've dealt with this sunburn issue?
our doc says we're the fairest skinned brunette family he's ever known.

I learned a lesson of life that in order to be happy with yourself. You have to learn to make yourself happy. Not strictly rely on others in your life to do so. Friends, while they can be amazing to have. Can also break your heart. Mine was broken. Twice. But while it was an unpleasant experience. Perhaps it was something that needed to happen for me to see the lesson of life.

I always tell my daughter....you carry your happiness with you.....Of course if one has Jesus living in their heart then we are way ahead in the game of life as He brings joy, happiness and peace to us....

Well, right now I've got my best lotion (not scented) Aveeno, and that will have to do until I can get either baby oil or alo Vera.

I hate the fact I just turn 2 colors... Pale white and burnt red! Makes it impossible to try and get even just a small tan, but this is what I get for being a petite Irish girl... Oiy!

I think I could actually be adopted into your family! Lol I'm a true brunette... And burn every summer... That is, if I don't put sunscreen on like a smart person lol
