I found out last night that my dad's doctor wants him to have surgery on his esophagus and his insurance will only cover only a small amount of it and my parents don't know what to do as they cannot financially afford it because they just paid off his Emergency Room bill.

I had to get a tissue because that is really sweet, thank you. I love you all too. Yes, this is scary because he is the strongest man I know and he has never had surgery and always knew how to fix everything even a broken heart and for someone to tell him that he needs to be operated on is a hard pill to swallow. My dad and I have always been close and has been such a wonderful example of the way a man needs to treat his family and I am truly blessed to be his daughter and call him dad.

I can't imagine. Feeling powerless over something like this must be very frightening. I suppose now you get to be your dads happy thought. :)

Sounds like you have a really awesome dad. I'm sure I don't need to tell you to cherish him. I think he is going to be fine. Doctors are amazing these days. The financial part will work out too!

I know it was just a joke, but my brain is going to feel slightly agitated until I either explain what Kris meant or enough time goes by that I forget about it :).

Mikey, if you pick up sticks "around the house", your house is outdoors and you call it a house even though it is a yard. At least, that's the joke Kris was making. I know you meant the ones that are lying on the ground "around" the house, but yeah :).

Can we have a picture of the beard? I'm now curious :).

I had a conversation with one of my brother's friends last night on facebook,he was trying to take over my family,I blocked him,he also lied to me about some guy that I went out with,he told me that he remembered that I went out with his brother Dan,when I only know one Dan and I told Dan about it,he diden't even know who the guy is,I had my nephew block him as well,I told the guy a piece of my mind.

Thank you for clearing it up.
Let's see....."around the house".....house is center, "around" it is surrounding land.
Around the house, when l'm doing yardwork.
Placing me in my yard, which isn't around the house. Technically "yardwork" can include all landscaping chores, surrounding areas, and includes all land immediately around the property. By definition, yardwork is work that is outside a house on ones property.

Whew.....a lot to explain a joke, eh.:p

I don't have a beard....my profile pic, is how l look, Jill. :)
