Mary, the most blessed among women, was not even aware of her wonderful mission in life until Gabriel appeared to her and informed her. She still did not understand what was going on for certain, until perhaps after her Son our Lord was resurrectd.l

Every time something big happened, although she knew to trust her Child, itis written she kept it to herself. She did this because she did not know intrinsicly.

Mary is most likely sleeping with all the saints of God until Jesus returns for us all. She is indeed blessed among all women, but if you pray to her, you are tromping on the Blood of our Salvation. Well, my country receives many who come to worship Mary. I´m referring to Fatima. It´s sad to see many people to sacrifice themselves (the so called promises) and worst of all, to see that Fatima has, without any kind of doubt, a monetary side. Although I may like the architectonic part of the Basilica, it saddens me to see so much people "lost", overpowering Mary to the point they call her "Queen in Heaven". Here, in Portugal, the most usual clock bells songs that churches have, is the most known catholic song here, that is, a song referring to the events that Catholics believe that occurred on May, 13th.

Apart from that, I believe there are more images of Mary than Jesus´s, here, in Portugal. Most chapels have many images of saints, and few have images of Jesus, but the vast majority I saw have Mary´s images. One hear many times many Catholics saying "Our lady will not allow that to happen", "Our lady will help you", "Our lady will heal you", etc, that is, Mary is almost more important than Jesus, or at best, has the same power and importance than Jesus.

It is obvious that you do not realize that the teaching you are espousing is elevating Mary above Christ. Jesus died but you teach that Mary was assumed into heaven.

Every man has an appointment with death and then judgment. Hebrews 9:27 Mary died physically but is alive in Christ Spiritually.

Judging is in Gods control but God has given the essential guidelines for us to understand. Only the blood of Christ can atone for our sins. Only the grace of God can apply that atonement to individual souls. God is longsuffering and slow to wrath but His judgment is certain and without repentance. Today is the day of salvation. Enter while you may. One day it will be too late with your labors all done.

Well I find a real problem with your application of the above verses to support purgatory. The conflict come from Luke 16:26. Jesus is speaking and tells those present that the souls in torment cannot pass over to Abrahams bosom because there is a great gulf fixed between the two.

Rev 21:27 says nothing about purging only that nothing that defileth can enter. No help to your cause,
Mat 5:48 The perfecting of the saints is by grace not by burning in hell
Mat 12:32 Really that supports purgatory? Just how if I may ask?
Heb 12:22-23 Really did you read these verses or just copy them?
Mat 18:32-35 This one is interesting in that the wicked servant is punished until his debt is paid. The sin debt is only paid by eternal death so I fail to see how you can get purgatory from this unless purgatory is eternal and eventually cast into the lake of fire.

Feeble effort but an effort none the less.

2 Corinthians 5:21 we are made the righteousness of God in Christ. We are perfect in Christ.

It is appointed unto men once to die then the judgment. No burning in purgatory. Believers appear before the judgment seat of Christ and their works are put through the fire but not the believers. 2 Corinthians 5:10

You are reaching as your argument from scripture has no merit. Purgatory has not basis in scripture. Your best chance would have been in 2 Macabees where a price is paid to redeem his soldiers out of purgatory for a monetary figure. 1 Peter refutes this position as we are not redeemed with silver or gold.

For any man catholic or not if you die and wake in the flames it's not purgatory but hell and there is no hope of redemption at the point.
