I wanted to sponsor a child last summer, and at the time I was scared; didn't know if we could afford it.. And God intervened and basically said that me and my husband aren't ready for that.

How do you ask that he intervened? My husband left his wallet in the car which has his checkbook, I left my bank card and all my cash in my car (all money was in glove compartment and car locked up). And we didn't realize he didn't have any money on him.. And when we turned in the brochure we told them sorry we can't sponsor this child. I was in tears, but my husband told me that this was God telling us, not yet. And boy am I glad that all happened :)

Thank you God for always looking out for us, even when we least expect it.

we had a few things that got stashed in there when a kid moved out. :rolleyes:

Mark's crazy, but not as bad as my dad was.

dad painted the garage every summer...including the floor. (??)

and it isn't as though there was a car dripping oil or anything.
but that was dad, always vacuuming and bending down to pick up lint
2 hours after he vacuumed. did he ever look up? ;)

Shhhhhhh ... pssst ... Mark doesn't really clean the garage that often. He's just sneaking away from all the nagging. That's how we all do it :cool:

Whenever I come onto the speak your mind thread, I never know
what to say :). I think it's brain fog from reading the other
