kids' favorite dessert when they were little?

grilled peanut butter sandwich topped with powdered sugar and a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

in a pinch, dinner and dessert were the same thing. :)

Any of you ever had "Salt Rising Bread"? Growing up, we had it almost every morning, sliced into 1 to 1 1/2" thick slices with four squares of butter on each piece (not spread), then toasted on the top side only in the oven till the butter slabs melted down through the bread. DELICIOUS!

Let's start the wagon salt rising bread business here all over again I love bread that takes three days to make and last 3 times as long on the shelves as regular bread, my drool has now turn to a river of life flowing out of me, but this doesn't make the blind to see it instead blinds them.....

sorry, Kody. :(
but the death of tourist's coffeemaker sounds suspicious, no?

yes, and I even have a theory about it.....
he tried to make coffee that morning, but the switch wouldn't work....so he tried to take it apart to see if he could fix it himself.....the problem was he forgot to plug it in, but then he actually destroyed it by taking it apart and not knowing how to fix it....:p

1) would tourist leave the house without coffee??

2) can't tourist fix almost anything?

3) isn't tourist so smart he knows coffeemakers are under 30 bucks?

idk, bear. still seems suspicious. :p

exactly that is why he didn't like the machine, his coffee was cold, not hot :p
The sad thing is the above statement about breaking the coffee machine sounds like something I would do lol

My eyes are killing me today. :( Yesterday was bad too. I've taken some Claritin but I still have some trouble focusing because they keep watering. Later today I should be find but the mornings are hard.

I go off and do some housework and come back after they've settled down. Then the lights start bothering me again. Ugh!!

Anyone else being bothered by pollen?

I can't breathe does that count?......It seems to happen to me every spring and when the humidity hits in Florida... I have what I call the summer cough get congested and have a hard time breathing.....I don't sneeze a lot though and my eyes don't water up.....it just affects my breathing....I like winter months better when there is no humidity and heat....but then I can't swim as much....such a bother both seasons....swim and cough or have a hard time breathing or breathe and can't swim a real conundrum for the Blond.....

Yeah but that would be assault on the coffee pot. That's not coffee pot suicide. :p

Went fishing today. First time in a couple of years, maybe. Caught a few sunfish. Friend that owns the pond fished with me and I skunked him. He sells those little pygmy goats. Cutest little boogers. I'd get one, but Brutus, my big mutt would probably see dinner on the hoof.

coffee pot suicide is the official story....it sounds better than tourist was too sleepy to fix it and ended up breaking it....lol

:p
wait until tourist sees we are joking around and teasing him and then admits that we were right even though not serious
