My sister and I grew up where we were each others best friend and when she started seeing her now husband our relationship took a big hit and she hurt me in ways I can't describe. I can't trust her and it has impacted how I trust others. Actually, in the past year we have been making huge improvements in our relationship and she now realizes that she wants to have me in her life, which makes me feel good. She even wants to start spending more quality time with me. To be honest, I am still hesitant but I love her and she is the only sister that I will ever have and I want to be sure I can have a relationship with her especially since I have seen my parents relationships with their siblings fall apart, I don't want that to happen. Granted, I have forgiven her for everything but trust takes a long time to rebuild.

If you're ever in my hometown of Philadelphia, you gotta get yourself a turkey sub (we call 'em hoagies)! Man, they are out of this world!!!!!
