Ain't that cool? My mother used to leave individual books of the World Book Encyclopedia lying around, and deliberately instigated curiosity within me over some subject or another, and the next thing you know I was reading them just for entertainment. She did the same thing with the Classics.

My immune system had to be suppressed. It is on its way back up to normal.

Lol....my mom skipped the alphabet letters and never got me the whole collection...I would always need the missing volume for an essay too! Lol...I was like awww man! Lol
sadly I think paper books are becoming extinct....I prefer paper books over internet books....same with notes, I write faster than I type.
My mother was almost fanatical about exposing me to everything young. That picture of me with my trophy fish was also the same year (1954) that I began flying lessons, secretly learned to drive, was started on Martial Arts and firearm & archery training, and first rode a little calf in a rodeo. (And we won't go into the stories about the NY Yankees and their Spring Training.)

I know my 2000 songs in my closet is all handwritten. When my minds on a roll writing lyrics...I'd forget them if I pecked with a keyboard. Lol

That's PRODUCTIVE, you go girl! Wish I could be that productive with music... well, if I had a device that would turn my thoughts into music in an instant... but I will have to wait for that one
