I have noticed an unusual number of members posting here lately that claim their Spiritual Status to be "unsure." That really concerns me. I'm wondering if we should be offering some sort of discussion thread about this? After all, this SHOULD be the real reason we are here on CC right?

Dunno, maybe on the Misc. Forum.......the BDF would probably end up in a brawl, and I don't think the Singles Forum would be the right venue for it.

Or, should we just leave it alone?

I think there are many reasons why people are here with sharing the gospel as being a main one.

I did notice the 'spiritually unsure' on a couple of profiles, with one of them in particularity I felt was trying to entrap me in debate by twisting my words. But having adorned my discernment hat, I told them they weren't getting a song and dance from me that day.

Anywho, I think you make a good point for addressing the 'unsure' IF they're serious about knowing Christ. What forum would you put that topic in?

Did you notice how the Spirit may speak so much more clearly to us (or rather we may hear Him better) in the midst of tasks? Like brushing our teeth, for example. I've had some juicy personal revelations in the midst of that.

I say put on some music crank up the tunes and go to town.....If I put on music I actually stay focused on what I am doing as I listen and sing to the music....If there is no music Blond looks like a pin ball machine pinging from one room to another because she gets distracted and then nothing gets done.....

I am fully aware that SOME such are not here in sincere search.........but, there are a few who may be, and these are the ones I am concerned about.

I'm guessing the Misc. Forum.......because most of us here, post there, and the fighting that goes on in the BDF doesn't usually go on there.

It's a thought..........because, if we have someone sincerely seeking knowledge and/or insight, we should be open to speaking with them in a sincere manner about their salvation. It really is important.

Of course you're aware, that's why you mentioned it. Please do not read into my words that I meant anything but sincerity as well.

It's more than important. It's life or death.

If someone unsure came into this fun thread and started asking questions, or made a statement leading to salvation, that would be a perfect time for sharing with them right then and there whether it was the thread topic or not because Jesus is ALWAYS the topic anywhere.

But otherwise, where could we post the topic and have someone who is unsure and serious find it?

We need to get you running for office...I had a teacher tell me I needed to run for President....that is a scary thought.
I am sure you would do better than most would. Who else thinks we need to get JesusLives to run for President?
