We live in a cold hateful world out there. Often when I tell a stranger at the store they look lovely, they look at me in shock, like they cant believe I complimented them. Its sad really. People are not used to kindness much. That's why Christians are beautiful, and I will have God in my life forever! Amen

I know exactly what you are talking about. When I was in school, I was constantly told I was stupid, retarded, ugly, and fat. So I tend to have a low self-esteem even though I am perfect in God's eyes and my parents always told me that I was beautiful.

This is a miracle! You painted this on your back?...Oh, ok not the back. Got it. Cuz that would have been a miracle. As, it is now, It is just one of the most beautiful things on the planet, made by you personally.....Wait, that qualifies as a miracle doesn't it?!!!

I don't know if Tori Kelly, an artist I am listening to at the moment, is a Christian or not, but her words speak of this Christians heart today:

The World is so scared of going nowhere...I thank God for the simple assurance, as seen in this room, of Faith, kindness, and simple non-coarse joking. I see Jesus smiling on His children as we play under the tree, in His presence.

As the world worries about getting to the goal or else...let us rest in the vision of Christ as we experience the journey. and obtain to the value of those things the world crawled- over from the start of the race, as being it's highlights.
