I'm baaaaaaaacccckkkkkkkkkkk. :o

YOIKSSSSSS!!!! I forgot Popsicles!!!! :( LOL

That seems to happen to me too. It can be so frustrating especially when I live about 15 miles to the grocery store. Because the one that is about five, is so expensive.

Do you want to know about my day? I mean, really??

My left knee was in agony, and I was using my crutches to get around. I thought it was an RA flare, although there was minimal swelling. I could not straighten my knee, which was my first clue. My second clue was when I moved and it went "pop" and I could straighten it.

So I dislocated my knee, probably last night. I have it all taped up and I will phone tomorrow about getting into a physiotherapist.

I just would ask that my friends here would pray that I could settle this knee down, so that I can get mobile again. Thanks in advance.

Awwwww, Angela. Sorry to hear that. In Jesus' name I pray your knee be healed and that you have no more pain! I ask the Lord for a miracle for you!!!

Why is it that whenever I should sleep, I suddenly want to party? :(

Probably because everyone in this thread is always laughing and carrying on and keeping you up with all the noise!

I hope I am not too late for the party! I'm the one sitting in the corner next to the crutches, enjoying the music and the fun!

I dislocated my knee in 2012 after a car hit me while riding my bike. The small town hospital didn't diagnose it correctly, so I hobbled around for 3 days with my knee bent, in terrible pain.

We went to the wedding of my husband's niece, and contrary to common sense, I got up to dance, keeping two feet firmly planted. The movement of pretending to dance popped the knee back in place. I got PT and improved rapidly.

Just so you know why I am dancing to all the music. God is good!

And thanks for the prayers. Allergic to Canada?? Only the cold cities, not my new home which is green and warm and the flowers are blooming.

I've always wanted to go to Canada, especially for camping and fishing. A friend of mine had gone on vacation there and came back with the most marvelous photos! The lakes were so blue and you could see the pebbles at the bottom and the fish swimming around. You don't see many lakes like that in the US. At least, I haven't seen any.

Angela, my son and I were invited to a Christmas celebration at a ballroom in Philadelphia's Chinatown a few years ago by a Vietnamese friend of mine. They presented famous singers and musicians from Asia (absolutely wonderful music!) and served a banquet fit for royalty. And of course, there was plenty of dancing.

Unfortunately I had worked out at the gym earlier in the day and my muscles were extremely sore. I didn't plan to do much dancing, especially because I am not the greatest ballroom dancer. So when this distinguished gentleman came to my table and asked me to dance (in Vietnamese language - my friend translated), I went out on the dance floor with him with much apprehension. It didn't take but a few times of him twirling me around that the muscle in my right thigh gave out close to my hip.

In hindsight, I wish my son had gotten that whole humiliating mishap on his cell camera and YouTubed that thing! Can you imagine me hobbling around this ballroom trying to brace myself on this older gent and telling him that I couldn't walk let alone dance, and he understood not a word of English?? He just kept trying to spin me around with a bewildered look on his face and I kept trying to drag him off the dance floor in pain. It was an insane, hysterical event.

He probably went home thinking I was the worst dancer he ever met in his life!!! Hahahaha!!!

You're young...your brain won't be fully developed until you are about 25.

Serious question.......Are you judgmental and or critical of others?
yes i am. but i already know its because of my insecurities.

Awww...Violet. You got to ballroom dance before? How lovely! Not that you hurt yourself!
To be twirled in a lovely gown...just once in my life! Haha...A broken toe maybe worth a twirl or two. Heehee

I was thinking bout starting an astronomy thread. Chat with Christians about the universe. Maybe I think the thread would be as deserted as a tea party with a skunk infestation. Lol...but I may give it a try :)

Canada isn't real.
It's just this weird thing Angela keeps talking about.

- Who would ever CHOOSE to play a sport on slippery ice where you can break your neck?
- Who would give towns crazy names like "Moosejaw" or "Medicine Hat"?
- Who would live in the freezing cold, when there are good roads going all the way to Key West?
- Who would put gravy on french fries? I mean... we KNOW that can't be real.
- Who actually thinks maple syrup comes from trees?
(We all know maple syrup comes from Mrs. Butterworth's... in New Jersey.)

I'm sorry... but none of this makes any sense.

It's just too crazy.

: )
