I thought I'd catch everyone up a bit.

I will not be losing my pets. My dad and his girlfriend are deciding to hold off until next year. This makes things much less stressful for me. I will still look for a job in hopes to save money aside for when that time comes to pass. I can live on-campus at college without worry, and college is definite. I haven't been accepted yet. I need to send in some things, but I'm extremely optimistic. I have a feeling that in due time, God will give me everything I need.

Now, if only Spring would grace us with its presence...

Sorry, Evie. I totally missed this post of yours. That's brilliant news! I'm so happy for you, my dear sister. :)

ughh.. it's 3:37 a.m. and I'm awake..my body just automatically wakes up at this time every day.. hope y'all have a good day.. :)

I know this may be kind of a bad thing to say on a Christian website but I want one tiny little biblical tattoo.
Like of a sparrow or something or a creative looking cross.
hehe. don't shun me! >.<
You could get a modern version of the dove with the olive branch. The dove has had a hard time of it lately...

Catherder thank you for that tale of the trippin' cats. I have an abscessed tooth, I'm running on ibuprophen, it's gonna be a loooooong day at work, they're calling for snow and ice later today... I needed a hearty laugh to start the day.

I have a tattoo and I really hate needles. It didn't really seem like a needle to me, nor did it feel like one. But, mine is small so it was bearable. *shrugs*

okay, so my physical therapy nurse came out for the last time today.. I have officially been discharged from Home Health services. The good thing is that if I relapse in the future, they can always come back and help me again. :) I can't even express how good it feels to resume SOME of what I haven't been able to do these last 4 months, such as checking my mail, taking out the trash myself, being able to walk downstreet on good days if the sidewalks are clear of snow.. These may seem like trivial things, but to me they are tremendous tiny wins.. :o

Amused by reading some of the other threads. Am reminded of a piece of advice from an elderly friend:

"Steve, you should do what I did - Marry a rich widow. I did that. Twice."

I have interesting friends.

i like tattoos, but i don't think i would ever get one. BUT... if i ever got brave enough, i would get this:

my first instrument is my voice :) and when i was little, my mom always called me her little songbird cuz i would sing all.the.time lol

I apologized to a spider on my bedroom wall before I killed it. "Sorry Mr. Spider, wrong place wrong time." As if the spider could reply "Oh you're sorry, well it's okay then!"

I just made myself sad, ha. Anyway. Spiders can stay in the screens of my windows during the summer and eat the bugs. But get outta my bedroom. I sleep there.

i was ok with spiders, until a couple of summers ago, i got bitten by one. and then, they were placed on the enemy list.

It's not that big of a deal. It's actually become fairly common for Christians to get tatt'd.

I wonder what Holy Spirit really looks like. The Bible doesn't actually say Holy Spirit looks like a dove. It mentions that His behaviour and presence is like that of a dove. Hmm...
