Blond here.....I realize I am Blond, but there is a reply with quote on the bottom right of the screen and I am totally confused as to who or what you are talking to or talking about.....who needs to refocus? Who has opinions on Frozen and who needs to grow up? I just don't know I'm so confused....I don't want to grow up I'm a Toys R Us kid at heart at least....my age may say 60 but I am 20 something on the inside ask any of the 30 year olds here on CC who have said my husband and I act like teenagers....o.k. whatever.... (What???? Ok, I do not know what just happened, but I was trying to type "There is a balm in Gilead" without thinking about the keys on the computer keyboard. Well, I randomly switched where I hit letters and LOOK!!! I accidentally nearly spelled the stupid sentence. It is not subconscious that I went to type the sentence; however, I am NOT aware as to WHY that came up in this context. Hmmm)

My sub-conscience is telling my conscience to get back to work.... Well I started sewing this week and hearts are starting to appear with lace. Not sure what my sub-conscience is trying to tell me this will be made into but there are 8 heart squares that are being done up in a quilt pattern.....
Pot holders, hot pad, mug rugs, table runner, baby quilt???? The possibilities are endless.... my conscience mind will have to make a decision soon....

One of my regrets in life is that I do not know how to sew.
This is a true story.
If I could do so much as hem a pair of pants, I feel like that would be a very handy skill to have.
I wish we could have classes here that teach us all basic skills in areas we are lacking (I'd gladly show you how to sew on buttons and hem pants; I've love to have others teach me about cooking, computers, cars, and guns.)
If you're ever in a bind, YouTube has tons of excellent videos and ingenious ways to hold up the hem of your pants in an emergency, such as with ape.
Er... TAPE. Somebody add "Tips on How to Get More Sleep" to that list of things I want to know.
Not that I am the worlds best sewer but it would be great to be able to get people together and teach them what I do know. Would love to have the companionship in the interest of sewing and quilting together.
I made some of my clothes in High School and have done different projects over the years. Love it and can sew for hours when I really get into what I am doing.
Since I was laid off in 2013 I would like to make things to sell instead of getting a real job so I am starting now and going to build an inventory of items that will possible sell on internet. Building a business 101 Blond style...slow but steady....wins the race right?
If we find out that some of us live close and not countries away sewing together might be a possibility.....

It had me fooled for a minute too. I thought it was some sort of funky tangent that she veered off into.
That might be true of most men but I found in my last relationship/turned current that he was on the fast burner and I was the crock pot. I wanted to simmer and he encouraged me to only simmer for a few minutes.....lol
Well change is in the air.....Have started walking around my complex where we live and have walked for two days now.....need to walk to China in order to loose the weight I am too short to carry.....those oceans might be problematic....
