It is Christ's wishes that his followers listen to Paul.

†. 1Cor 14:37 . . If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let
him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the
commandments of The Lord.

†. 1Ths 4:1-2 . .We beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord
Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please
God, so ye would abound more and more. For ye know what commandments
we gave you by the Lord Jesus.

And it is God's wishes that everybody listen to His son.

†. Matt 17:5 . .Behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and behold, a
voice out of the cloud, saying: This is My beloved son, with whom I am well
pleased: Listen to him!

You will no find neither Paul nor Christ giving the okay for female pastors; in
point of fact you will find them clearly opposing female pastors. People who
approve female pastors are overstepping Paul; and they are overstepping Christ.

=============================================
Just my opinion, but I think a woman pastor who shepherds with Truth and love to the Glory of God is much better than a Sunday school teaching nun who pulls ears, smashes knuckles and perpetually frightens children about eternal damnation.

I should point out a detail that a number of people have managed to
overlook. Old Testament female role models like Moses' sister and Deborah
were Jews rather than Christians. As such they were not subject to the same
rules as Christ's female followers are subject to.

FYI: There were no females in the Old Testament priesthood. That office was
restricted to males, and males only; just as today the office of New
Testament pastor is restricted to males, and males only. It has always been
God's wishes that males stand in for the image and glory of God rather than
females.

†. 1Cor 11:7-9 . . For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch
as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.
For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man. Neither was
the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.

Right...Paul taught that we should look to the law to understand what he was saying and he also taught that a woman would be delivered from the transgression of eve if she continued in faith a love..etc... So then if a woman is delivered from the transgression she is not under it! That's what Paul taught!

So Paul didn't understand that these women where Jews, when he told us to consider the law in regards to women? come on! You have a strong position in the word of God...no sense in being silly with stuff like that!

Women aren't prohibited from leading children's Bible classes. They are only
prohibited from leading a class with Christian men in it.

That loop-hole opens the door for competent women to lead not only
children's classes, but also women's classes, women's prayer groups, and/or
women's home Bible studies.

Something else I should mention is that Paul's rules governing female
spiritual leaders are site-specific; viz; they only apply in church. Women at
large like Ann Graham Lotz are exempt.

There is a balance in the Scriptures, with women both being given some authority positions, and also being told to generally refrain from authority positions.

Under normal circumstances, men should rise to the calling of leadership, and "get off the pews" whenever they can.
Under normals circumstances, women should rise to the calling of stewardship and caregiving, and "get off the pews" whenever they can.

If men are not sheparding, then women are chosen to.
If women are not caregiving, then men are chosen to.
We are told that women should stay quiet in the congregation, yet also see women given prophecy.
We are told that women should not teach men, yet see women help instruct and disciple.
We are told that men are to be deacons, yet we also see that women were made deacons.

The structure is given for a reason, and exceptions are given for a reason.
This structure is temporary, as in Christ there is no male or female. These "roles" are temporary, and they are tests.

A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent 1 Timothy 2:11–12..... What if a woman was a pastor but she only preached to women

Me? No, Brother. No RCC here.
No I can tell your not...I was talking about the fellow that was lecturing everyone else on the bible and about Gods ministers...something I would have real problems with a member of that group doing :)

"seed of antichrist" ??? some of you guys need to get off the computer and give your religious minds a break.... did God appoint women as leaders and judges over men in the Old Testament law? Did Paul not use the law as the example?
Sorry, first of all you need to get out of that 'lukewarm', compromising attitude state you are in. And further give your carnal/flesh at times reaction a complete break. Do not interfere in a 'self' righteous gentleman manner and give the 'anti-CHRIST spirit a chance to deceive someone and others using what is not written.

Did you ever take time to read her friend's testimony of justification of act decided, to be just. And further in your stubborn 'self', you even fail to distinguish between the 'spirit of error' and the 'spirit of truth', a caution by the Apostles then for the churches, to be aware of these 'deceivers' being within the church?

Now, Who is Prophetess Deborah written in the Old Testament, spoken of and chosen by GOD Himself?

As it is written;

"HE has no favorites." (among men)

"HE has no regards for men."

As it is written and now a humble caution to you, in order for you to wise up in a single spirit of the New Covenant and not act on your own and only stand and take one side that is in the Truth foundation and not be in the 'middle' of things (lukewarm), that;

"I speak what I see with My FATHER, but you do what your father tells you to do."

The pastor as defined today has no basis in NT scripture. So the answer is neither a woman or a man has the right.

Ok so we have Old testament women as judges and prophets....do we have any in the New Testament? Yes....so did they speak in the assembly? yes as prophets!
! Corinthians chapter 11 onwards, some of them as truth founded spiritual women, who posses the 'best gift' of the HOLY SPIRIT, that is 'prophesying', besides the other 'best gift', speaking in tongues (chapter 12), where two or three at one time, with interpretation, leading in the 'interceding/praying' to GOD, together being 'edified' as the church, where all of them in that church are to say, 'Amen' together at the end of the prayer (chapter 14).

Care to please take a break now and wise up, by the Help of the HOLY SPIRIT, who have inspired and taught the HOLY BIBLE.

Thank you and be blessed in the name of LORD JESUS CHRIST, for GOD the FATHER's Glory.

Clearly its the folks who are trying to look to the scriptures that are carnal...not you guys who insult everyone who is trying to have a honest discussion.

Ga 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife,

Have you read the bible....Deborah was a prophet and judge of Israel...so we must admit God does ordain woman and appoint them as leaders in the law....Paul told us to look at the law.
