How can you say there is no hell when that is where you got your doctrine?
...and he might presently be headed there, too:

Galatians chapter 5

[19] Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
[20] Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
[21] Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Of course, is his presently twisted mind, he understands "they which do such things ShALL NOT inherit the kingdom of God" to mean that "they which do such things SHALL inherit the kingdom of God"...after they've been purified by the fire of the Holy Ghost (in his "doctrine of devils"), that is.

Seriously, I hope that he comes to his senses and repents before it is too late. God doesn't take HERESY as a light matter...

I surely don't understand your post. Those who strive to overcome receive eternal life, those who reject Christ are put to death. What do you mean it won't matter?

Deu 30:19 I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;
No sorry Im getting you and Socrates mixed up. I dont think he believes the same.I think he believes all will be saved.

Yes, God shall be All in All. There is no Bible verse that states you cannot accept Jesus after physical death. If that was true, what happened to all those before Jesus?

They were justified by faith in Christ. IOW, whereas New Testament saints LOOK BACK to Christ's death, burial, resurrection and ascension, Old Testament saints LOOKED FORWARD to the same.

You make some good points. Sending people to hell doesn't sound like a very loving God. The whole "send people to hell doctrine" I think doesn't line up with God's character. There's a verse that says that Gods will is that none shall perish.

What I wanna know is what happens to non-believers who die? If sheol is the original word for death then would that mean that non-believers will simply cease to exist? Cuz Sheol also means grave right? Then there was a psalm where someone says how the dead don't think or reason or feel. So is that what happens to non-believers?

ooooohhhh! I see what you did there! Nice! So if the spirit returns to God what does He do with it? Does the person live like any Christ-follower or do they just become nothing?

except for possibly this one . . .

For the grave cannot praise you,
death cannot sing your praise;
those who go down to the pit
cannot hope for your faithfulness.
The living, the living—they praise you,
as I am doing today;
parents tell their children
about your faithfulness.

(Isaiah 38:18-19)

are you a Mormon, Socrates?
they believe the only people who will go to hell are ex-mormons, and that everyone will have a chance to convert after they are dead (except ex-mormons, lol)

Why?

According to you, all its inhabitants will be spending eternity with you.

Hey, come to think of it, they might be (if neither of you repents)...

2Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Spoken in concert like three frogs:

Rev 16:13 And I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs;

honestly, if it really doesn't matter whether i trust Christ now or not, because i'm going to get set right after i die no matter what, why the heck am i not a pagan? why purposefully deny myself all the pleasures of the flesh now if i always have the lake-of-fire "purification and restitution" to look forward to?

these are headed to the lake of fire, yes?

if you think that the lake of fire will purify and regenerate them, why judge them?

Shows your lack of desire to press deeper into the Spirit.

Rev 22:11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
