Well the class said that they thought I taught very clearly and that they feel ready to try starting with the Bible and telling their own Bible stories tomorrow (instead of pre-made pre-recorded ones). I guess that means this week has been a success, and that maybe I have learned something about letting people learn by doing after 3 years of being told that that's how most people learn best. Oh and this town is beautiful and small and in the mountains with perfect year round weather and I'm wondering why I didn't settle here instead of the big city when I came to this country.

Thank you. And were you able to go to church last Sunday? :)
Not Sunday morning. The young lady I work with refused to get up and get ready. I get off at 4 though , so I was able to make it to the night service. :)

I wonder why I keep coming back here. I don't talk to anyone. I don't really read the boards as much I used to. I'm starting to lose interest. But, that's all on me. Maybe it's time move on to other things. My faith isn't what it used to be. Unless my faith never really was. Either way, the truth will be told.

I need a life...

I never make plans to do anything!:)
Quote for the day: "I never plan my day, because then the word "premeditated" gets thrown around in the courtroom a lot."

Searching4truth: A life? DON'T DO IT! You'll be soooooorryyyyyy! I see it all the time, people get lives and we never see them again. Trust me, it ain't worth it.

Ok I think my body is telling me that going to the tea and sweets buffet was a bad idea. But they had tea and ice cream and it was all you could eat for the price of one tea and one ice cream. They also had weird stuff like candied lima beans, but I didn't have to eat that more than once. Tonight's double feature: "Whatever happened to cinder's gut" followed by "revenge of the carbs" (yeah, that struck me as funny instead of just plain weird, time to go to sleep I think).

jogoldie: Sounds like me. My mother taught me to read when I was three and a half - out of desperation I think, so I would stop bugging her to read to me.

I am praying that Saturday is a good day for you. Sunday too. I am not sure if it is possible for anyone to have a good Monday but we must try.

speaking of food... last night i made pistachio butter, which is mostly ground pistachios, with a bit of coconut oil for creaminess.

ok, so i won't lie, it's aaaaahhhmaaazzzinng!!!

for some reason, i don't really feel the need to sweeten it. i was prepared to, but it doesn't need it--probably enough sweetness in the coconut oil. just a pinch of salt, and voila!

however, i might be due for an intervention soon. ; p
