Spiritually speaking you are absolutely correct. Those of us saved but still in mortal bodies are of course ONE with those who died in Christ. We are all alive and in the AER.

But basically they don't understand or don't tie the other scriptures you cited nor do they bother looking at the original text.

Jesus makes clear when He returns, His angels "gather" His Elect, His remnant. Jesus doesn't say anything about transforming anyone. Further, in John 14 Jesus states the below which all these Pre-Tribbers totally take wrong.

hahaA yeah, the "taken" scenario. I've never been able to bring myself to watch the movie or any of the other sensationalized horror shows with Christian fall guys, burning churches devils etc. Thanks to my Jewish cousins in the movies industry to turn the hatred against Christianity. Jesus rules and reigns in us. He doesn't have to "return" from anywhere. We just have to Receive Him. He Comes into us in an intimate relationship, and we are conceived by His incorruptible Seed! Now Sons of Abraham! And Christ dwells in our flesh bodies in righteousness woohoo! The Kingdom of Heaven is within you Jesus said But not unless you receive His Holy Spirit. Then WE are in Heaven with Him now, the same as He was in Heaven with us while walking the earth. Heaven isn't some place else. It is a state of relationship. That is how Jesus was in Heaven while on earth

Which one? There three different scriptures that describe three different events that man has ascribed as "rapture". It depends one which of those three one has learned whether they believe pre, mid, or post trib. Fewer people don't believe they exist. Even fewer people believe in all three. And even fewer than that believe that they do exist but are not God's will for his people.
Personally, I don't usually discuss rapture with others. I have seen it accomplish one thing consistently... division and strife.
I say... cast aside whatever men have told you. Ask the Lord to show you the truth.

Seems pretty clear the timing of the Lord's return.

Saints are being persecuted (enduring Great Tribulation) where many are killed for their testimony and faith. Then God's wrath is poured out then the Lord comes. Satan's Tribulation starts AFTER the Abomination of Desolation is set up. God has to put a stop to it or their would be no Saints left alive to return and rescue.

The other problem is that they've never been taught the nature of what the tribulation is going to be like. Most peoples knowledge of that comes Not from whats written. But from movies, and mans books and pastors misleading the flock, teaching death and destruction on earth, and the scriptures don't teach that.

The Tribulation is one of deception of the soul, that is what the "death language " hopes to convey , not the death of a body which is just a figure of speech ..

The way Christ taught they are kept from it , is not with a catapult, but with staying true to the True Bridegroom. You may want to refresh on the churches of Smyrna and Philadelphia .

How you do that, is by being familiar with Revelation and Daniel God wrote to his bride. If she does not read it, then she will be taken, but its going to be by Antichrist. The people are being mislead, and they are going into apostasy as Paul warned to the letter.

God's wrath is targeted. Just as it was with Egypt, Assyria and Babylon. It isn't directed at His people. If you read the Bowl judgments which come after the Tribulation, you will see that they are aimed specifically at the ISLAMIC world, the beast and those who have taken the mark. Read Rev 16. The below from this chapter make clear who the target of God's wrath is, it isn't His Believers, it isn't the Jewish Nation nor is it Christians. Satan has been targeting them, God is going to put a stop to it and exact revenge:

a foul and loathsome sore came upon the men who had the mark of the beast
For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets
And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God
the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom
sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates

God's people don't do any of the above mentioned things that God is angry about. The region is identified as the Throne of the BEAST in the area of the Euphrates. God's people are ordered out of the affected regions, BEFORE He does anything. Just as Lot was ordered out of Sodom. This from Rev 18.

It is clear, the MUSLIM world will be decimated. Revelation is all about this war ISLAM wages against God's people (the Great Tribulation) and God's response to it all culminating at the Battle of Armageddon which is where and when Christ returns. Jesus' account in the Olivet exactly matches John's account in Revelation. GOD vs. SATAN. ISLAM vs. Christianity. All of this plays out in the Middle East.

The idea of a rapture is not logical or even sensible. Christ is coming back to whisk all the Christians to heaven so they don't have to go through the tribulation? Will they be in human form? I agree with most of this except the Tribulation is real. It is the killing and persecution of God's People by Islam which has been going on for centuries and is going to happen big time soon.

Again, the tribulation; will Not be killing and persecution of the body: those are just the surface figures which convey a much more serious fate, which is not killing . It is not the death of the body.

The rapture cannot stand, if people would study the Bible fully to listen to what is being taught as its written. Antichrist, is not going to go around killing people. It is not what scriptures state. The worse fate is to worship him as messiah : that is the killing. And most people, because they have been told, its physical, they have not studied, that clearly puts them at risk now.
